  1. Bought this one quite recently, just to compare it with my another, SD equipped 4-94. They are very very similar and now I have two nearly identical basses - I apply last in first out rule, so I offer it for sale.

    Specs:
Ash body with quilted top, quartersawn maple neck (graphite inforcements) with supernice fretboard. Bartolini preamp and pickups. Very lightweight at 3,7kg.

Bass has been intensively played for last 20 years and it shows it with genuine players wear. Fits like an old glove.

    £1700 shipped within EU.

  3. Due to family circumstances, I am forced to sell nearly all boutique instruments I have, only one can remain. I will offer all of them.

This one hurts me at most. Custom made for Keith Duffy from The Corrs in 1998, signature of Dan Lakin on the back of the headstock. This bass has the best Lakland neck I have ever played ((and I had more than 20 US Laklands..) - bit chunkier version of common 494 neck, extremly playable. Thick birdseye maple fretboard, something which is not common on current Laklands.

Next owner of this bass was Yolanda Charles, she made whole tour on it with Robbie Williams.

She speaks about this bass here:

    and some video..

Bass is completely stock with its ash body, Bartolini preamp, rare Seymour Duncan pickups, DropD tuner. Typical early Lakland, with its mojo and beautiful history. OHSC included.

    2000£ shipped within EU.

  6. I had a pleasure to play this particular bass many times during the gig. And I have to admit - it is an absolute beast - from aggresive punchy tone (think RATM stuff) to mellow Jamerson pbass thump thanks to VTC. Very universal bass but still with its own Sadowsky unique sound. Buy with confidence.
