I'm not too keen on trades, as I definitely need quite a bit of cash out of this. Maybe I could be interested in a powerful little amp like a GK MB800, Tecamp Puma 900 or similar plus cash my way. Oh, and I'd also be interested in something like a Darkglass B7K.

I'm located in Germany, but EU-wide shipping is no problem. The bass will be packed and padded very thoroughly.

Any questions, feel free to ask. :)

2. Hi,

With a heavy heart I have to sell some of my equipment, mainly for financial reasons.

Up for sale here is my Barefaced Super Compact. It's the newest gen 3-model with silver cloth front and includes a Roqsolid cover.
For those unfamiliar with these cabs, you can read all about it here on the official Barefaced homepage: Link

In short: 1x12", 400W RMS, 8 ohms, 10kg, fantastic sound, huge output. B)

Condition is as new except for a tear in the Roqsolid cover on the front side. No idea how it got there, probably someone in the rehearsal room got stuck on it with something sharp and ripped it. The front cloth of the cab also shows a tiny bit of scuff at the spot under the tear, but you have too look pretty close to notice it....seems like the cover did its job.

More pictures can be found here: Link

I'm located in Germany, so collection might be a bit cumbersome....but shipping is no problem at all. The cab will be packed and padded very thoroughly.

Any questions, feel free to ask. :)

Cheers,
Janis

3. It was a pleasure to deal with Janek. :)

He just bought my Warwick Thumb NT6 fretless. And though GLS messed up a bit and lost the package for nearly 3 weeks he was patient, friendly and supportive the whole time. I'm really glad that everything worked out just fine in the end. Thanks for the nice deal again, Janek!
So everybody, feel confident to deal with him. :)

D'oh!
Let this be a lesson kids - never blindly copy and paste! :P

EDIT: I think BD meant fretboard is rosewood, but the neck is maple.
That fretboard is definitely wenge. :)
I think it's just the "old" standard description for ABZs that BD used here....the first few years they only came with maple fretboards, but nowadays they often use wenge (like on most of the higher-end Dingwalls), too.

Btw: My ABZ 6 seems to be a perfect twin to this one, only with one more string. Same colour, wood combination, rear strap button and everything. If this one's as good as mine, it's a monstrously good bass! B)

5. I really like those older japanese SRs, very high quality instruments that imho usually sell far below their value.

If you're looking for current japanese made SRs I think there's only the SR400X/500X prestiges. Though the indonesian made SR120X/140X/160X/180X premiums are also pretty nice instruments.

Oh, and btw: I myself might be selling my 90s SR7005 soon, since I'm thinking about switching to fanned fret instruments exclusively....so if someone should be looking for something like that... ;)

I do enjoy the snobbery on here sometimes, some people love to go on pretty much every Fender thread to lets us know they like weird stuff, good for you,
I find it kind of refreshing....I'm more used to the opposite. Also I don't think anyone here means any harm, to me it's just a bit of harmless argy-bargy.

Btw, my favorite instrument is a white P-bass (though no Fender)....not sure if that really qualifies as "weird stuff". ;)

Nice bass Moo but i see detas which arent right ....
I dont see black hardware ,i dont see swamp.ash body too....
The body looks flame maple (all the body) and not only the top......
If im wrong just correct me....
Cheers
Mate and its really looks awesome
About the hardware: Sometimes it helps to read the whole post. ;)

Though I also can't see any swamp ash....really looks like solid flamed maple wings.

Anyway, really lovely bass!

8. Well, the fancying part really isn't the problem here....I'd really love to snatch this up, but since I'm completely skint atm all I could offer is a Markbass CMD 121P. :(
Maybe in 1-2 months, if it's still available then...

9. I'd definitely check out Musik Produktiv in Ibbenbüren, should be just around the corner. :)

http://www.musik-produktiv.co.uk/

Address:

Fuggerstraße 6
49479 Ibbenbüren/Laggenbeck

10. Lovely bass, I'm really tempted.....would have to sell something else first to finance it, though.
Any chance of (safely) sending it to Germany? I used parcel2go and parcelforce a few times to ship basses over here and never had problems, but they were all packed in hardcases...
