Love these basses :) Only the fourth I have ever seen for sale, and a fair price too. Interesting about the preamp, I always assumed the push pull was a coil tap ala Dolphin, however if the balance still pans between coils in this mode then that clearly isn't what it does!
Also thanks for your nice comment!
I hope the price is fair, I had to value it without much comparison....I think I've only seen one of those for sale so far, it was in far worse condition than this one and the asking price was exorbitantly high imho. So not really helpful in pricing mine.

If someone should have more information about the preamp circuitry, feel free to join in!

Second Push-Pull should be parrallel/series.
That is a thing of beauty.

I thought so too at first, but it doesn't make any tonal difference to my ears....also you can pan between the coils with the balance pot, and I don't think that would be possible if you could switch between parallel and serial mode.
My best guess is that they used the electronics of the Dolphin for the Ltd and simply didn't make use of the second push/pull switch because of the single pickup. Should be easy to resolder it for series/parallel action though, if you'd prefer that. ;)

Love that birdseye!!

Thanks! It looks even better in reality, the wood has a fantastic "depth" (a bit like quilted maple) to it that I can't seem to capture with my phone...

3. Now sold!

Price now reduced to £1100 including hardcase and shipping!

I have to thin the herd a bit, so with a heavy heart I'm offering my Warwick Streamer Ltd. 1989.

Afaik this was the first "real" Ltd that Warwick ever produced (besides the 5th anniversary model), this is Nr 85 of 100 that were built.

Specs:

- Wenge/Maple neck with Ebony fretboard, 24 frets, 34" scale, Just-A-Nut I brass
- Birdseye Maple top, Maple back (with a bit of flame going on there)
- passive Bartolini MM-pickup, MEC 2-band-EQ (stacked volume/balance with push/pull for active/passive, stacked bass/treble also with push/pull - but no idea what exactly it does )
- weight is a bit above 4 kg on my bathroom scale

The Streamer was owned from new by a professional german bassist before I got it. He used it as his main studio bass for ~20 years. It has been taken care of extremely well, has never been abused, was regularly cleaned and waxed and is therefore in top-notch condition. Trussrod, electronics etc. are working flawlessly.
It plays and sounds great, the action is nice and low and the whole bass feels amazing overall.

If you have any questions, want more pics or the like, feel free to ask. :)

I'm mainly looking for a straight sale, but I'm open for part exchanges (or even a trade, if it's something really special). Might be interested in a Darkglass B7K, a small and powerful amp, maybe a nice 5- or 6-string....

I'm located in Stuttgart, Germany. If you should not be able to pick it up here ( :P), I'll ship the Streamer very carefully packed in a hardcase. Shipping and hardcase are of course included in the price.

Ive had one of these for about 5years. Brilliant, solid, portable and surprisingly loud. And that's a very good price.

Exactly what I wanted to say.... :)
Had one for years, still miss it. I might be interested in buying it at that price, but I guess shipping to Germany would make it too expensive and the power cord probably has the "wrong" plug for me...

This. :)
Also the body and the pickguard are shaped a bit differently (more like the original 4 string Stingray on the Classic) and I believe the Classic also has those foam mute pads on the bridge and string-through-body option.
Personally I like the "normal" Stingray 5 better.

6. Found something I'd like to buy....so the price for a straight sale is now reduced to £700 including shipping.

7. Thanks, Paul! :)
The Conklin really is a quality piece of kit. I'm just selling it because my Dingwall ABZ 6 satisfies most of my ERB-needs and so the GT-7 doesn't get enough attention and playing time to justify keeping it.

Price for a straight sale now reduced!

8. Now traded!

Hi!

I'm selling my Groove Tools GT-7.

Last price drop for a straight sale: £600 including shipping. Trade value around £700.

Specs: Swamp ash body, flame maple top, high gloss wine red finish, 7 piece wenge/purpleheart neck with 2 trussrods, purpleheart fretboard with 24 frets, 2 Bartolini soapbars, active 2-band preamp (volume/balance/treble/bass), 34" scale, string spacing is around 16-17mm at the bridge, Neutrik locking jack.

It's a fantastic bass in near mint condition. Electronics and trussrods are working perfectly, action can be set very low and the finish is nearly immaculate (check the pics, I tried to capture everything). No visible fretweat at all, looks (and plays) as new!
The weight comes in at around 5kg on my bathroom scale, which I think is pretty good for such a massive 7-string. Also helps it balance nicely on a strap.
The neck is rather flat and wide and feels great, I really like the profile on this one.

The Conklin was bought new and imported from Musicians Friend in the US in 2011/2012, I should still have the receipt and import documents somewhere.

More pics can be found in my photobucket: Link

Shipping in the EU is no problem at all, but of course you can also test and/or pick it up here in Stuttgart, Germany. :P

I'd prefer a straight sale, but you can always try to tempt me with trades. For instance I could use a Darkglass B7K, maybe a small and powerful class d amp, perhaps a nice 5- or 6-string....just shoot me a pm, worst I can do is say "no, thanks".

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. :)

Oh, and here's my feedback: Link

Cheers

9. Update: Now withdrawn, I might need the Shuttle for a new project after all....

Hi!

Up for sale is my trusty Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0.

I'm still not 100% sure about doing this....but since my band split up a few weeks ago and I don't see myself joining another one soon the Shuttle is only collecting dust here.

The amp is in perfect working condition and has never let me down. The only blemishes I can find are two little scratches on the top.
The preamp tube has been replaced by a Mullard, sounds a little bit warmer and smoother now.
It comes with the original packaging and manual.

Pics:

Pricewise I'd be happy with 390 quid including insured shipping.

Oh, and here's a link to my feedback-thread: Link

Nearly forgot: Sorry, but I'm not interested in any trades atm. (Except maybe for a Darkglass B7K, could be useful for some nice home recording action... )

10. Cameron just bought my Dingwall Super P.

He was very patient with me (took quite some time until I got packaging and shipping sorted out, sorry about that again  ), great communication, just an allround nice guy.

It was a pleasure to deal with you, really hope you like the bass! :)
