Paul has bought 3 basses from me, the last being the Fender Jag bass he'd been lusting after for a while
A great bloke and no mistake - I simply couldn't recommend him highly enough. Always a pleasure to sit and chat mate.

Hi All,
For sale is a good condition Rickenbacker bass case (fits the 4000 series), £100 collected or add £15 for postage.
Only issues are with two of the metal feet - one has walked away completely whilst another appears to be having a think about it
All latches work very well.
Cheers, Si -
Thanks guys - I forgot to mention the weight - 8.6lbs

Hi All,
Up for sale is my 1966 Sunburst P Bass, serial number 141225. 100% Original.
As hopefully you can see from the photos, she is in remarkable condition and still retains the original flatwounds from the factory.
Asking price is £3,500.
All the best, Si -
Ryan bought my Status bass - the whole thing couldn't have been easier - quick comms and very fast payment - no hassle whatsoever.

Joe bought my Warwick FNA Jazzman recently - a great guy, very easy to deal with, speedy communication and fast payment.
I would highly recommend Joe to anyone.

Hi A,
Weighs in at a very impressive 8lbs.

My preference is to trade upwards for vintage 4 string basses.

Thanks Jack.

Hi All,
Up for sale is my Status Vintage PJ4 which is in as-new condition, along with its Status hard case.
I recently picked this up in a trade with Happy Jack, so its comes from a good home. It plays really well and has a fantastic graphite neck.
Looking for £1000 or any trade, p/ex offers welcome - would prefer to trade 'up' and add cash myself.
Happy to ship using ParcelForce for an extra £20.
Cheers, Si -
Thanks Dave....yes, spot on about the high C.
The headstock is about as big as all my other basses put together
Cheers, Si -
better pics added......

Hi All,
Up for sale is my Warwick FNA Jazzman which is in as-new condition, along with its RockBag soft case and Comfort Strapp.
I recently picked this up in a trade with Happy Jack, so its comes from a good home. It plays really well and has a really thin neck, measuring 3.8cm at the nut.
Looking for £550 or any trade, p/ex offers welcome. Happy to ship using ParcelForce for an extra £20.
One slight foible is that it has the wrong truss rod cover (see pic). However, I assure you this doesn't affect how well this bass plays

Blimey VGS....that's 35 strings you've got there mate !

I think it speaks volumes that when Leo was asked about the Bass V later in his life, he had no recollection of it whatsoever.

I recently bought this 1966 Fender Bass V - I think these were the first ever 5 string basses.
As it has 4 more strings than are good for me, I just thought I'd post a couple of pics and ask you guys to post pics of your 5 string beasts to see how the evolution continued

Hi All,
Up for sale is my 1946/7 Gibson ES300 (plus original case) - £1900 ono or trade offers welcome. It sounds fantastic, either acoustically or through an amp.
I have dated it based on the specifications of the ES300 during the 40s as the white label that would normally be inside the body has long gone.
The only non-original part is the bridge tailpiece and the pickguard is unfortunately missing. It has also had some work done to stabilise the neck, which is as solid as a rock. I attach pics.
Please PM me with any questions.
Cheers, Si -
I visited Jack with my 8 year old bodyguard a couple of days ago and we were both made very welcome by Jack and his family.
We chatted, played bass, drank coffee and did a deal.
A true credit to basschat and I could not recommend him more highly to you all.
Cheers, Si
