8.
You got a price for it? And how much would it cost to get it to sunny Glasgow?
sorry man I don't want to post this as it is massive and heavy when it's in it's box's :/
 9.
You need to be aware that even though you have Cash on Collection, e-Bay rules state you have to accept PayPal, and any buyer is entitled to use PP and you get hit with charges.
yes we know, and if they do, o well
 10.
Hi, Brand new to this forum, so don't know whether I'm doing this right. Anyway, I have a 1997 Jap Fender 75 reissue Jazz bass, blonde, Tortoise guard, maple neck, white block markers, in great condition. Looking for straight swap for a nice P bass (not MIM or new squire). Can do photos if any interest. Email me on [email protected] Cheers
are you sticking to trade only for the jazz? and see if you could put some pictures up man carl
 11.
Aw man i want one of these, If i had the money and the means to get it i would
well it doesn't look like it's going to be sold this time on eBay, so you still have time to save up
 12.
Only a year? I left a set of elixirs on my P for at least 3 years. Maybe it was 4. 'Normal' strings last me about 3 rehearsals before they go off. Elixirs save me a fortune.
to be honest they would probably last longer than a year but I just thought I would have a nice new set every birthday do you find that the thread comes through a bit? Doesn't affect them at all though
 13. I find that most bass string companys are pretty awful and overated, and yes everyone will hate me for this but everyone says elixir bass strings are terrible and a waste of money, i use super lights that last me a year literally, whereas normal rotos etc last a month. Another point I have is, yes I do think ashdowns have a boring sound and are overated but the ashdown mini rig is one cracking little practice amp!
 14.
MB1. ...Alas if youd put it on here!.. with all us villianous Characters!... youd probably have Sold it, had it collected ,Not been messed around!...and not have had to pay any fees!...
I think I will put it up for a week or so if it doesn't sell on eBay. Two days left
 15.
No worries, you should have told your Dad that you'll pay commission to ebay for putting up the item, when you sell the item and if you take payment by paypal. You'll lose about £10-£15 of the sale if my calculations are anything to go by
I know yeh! We are asking for cash on delivery though. Can someone please buy this because at the moment it is sitting in the corner doing nothing when it really deserves a good bassist!
 16.
Hi Carl, it's real safe, the link don't work
haha o dear ill change it now, tar man
 17.
HERE THEY COME
haha
 18.
Furry muff! Perhaps a mod should lock one to avoid confusion
a mod?
 19.
Without wanting to sound rude, do we really need 2 threads about the same amp from the same person, esp when it's not even for sale yet?! Sorry if i'm being a pedantic arse!
haha i no man, i originally did it in the wrong topic area by accident and so i made another one in the right section, and then they moved my other one to the one its in now! so sorry for the confusion. I can't delete posts though :/
 20.
could well be.
alright then man, well i will tell you if i put up for sale
 21.
talk to me at the end of the month!
interested dude?
 22.
I wasn't trying to tell you how much it's worth or how much to sell it for. Just pointing out that if you sell it on eBay for £100 you'll be lucky if you actually end up with £90. Then you have to factor in what your time is worth, because selling on eBay is a time-consuming process.
Ahh right ok. Well they were going for over 100 on ebay i just looked on some past sales. so £100 would be a bargain! haha
 23.
Generally speaking, gear sells for less on here than on eBay, because the hassle factor is a lot lower and because you don't have to pay those eBay fees (and because you have full control over your selling price). You're allowed to slip a few bob to Basschat, though, when you sell stuff, but that's voluntary.
Well i think thats how much it is worth though because it is in perfect condition and i bought it for 150, so :/
