This and the matching preamp, are still on my bucket list to own.
I had also been on the lookout for one to pair with the Mono 500 for using with my electro acoustic bass. I'm having a hollow body 6 string being built for me and would be nice having a high headroom transparent amp...

Oh wow! Such an iconic bass preamp!
Hope you're keeping the Hellborg and its still going strong! Miss that thing!
Good to hear from you!
The Hellborg is going along with the DB680. I've been looking out for the Hellborg preamp for a while now without success, and the whole rig will be funding something else 🙂

According to my tech, the most incredibly over engineered amp he’s ever seen. Certainly not the lightest and a tone all of its own. I’ve had a few of these and I’m just selling a stereo 250. Pretty unique
Agreed. There is nothing quite like it. I like that there was a power amp created with bass players in mind, as an alternative design to the huge Aguilar valve offering

Aguilar's classic original design which put them on the map. Extremely versatile and musical preamp, which has been part of my high headroom rig for years.
The DB 680 has two fully parametric EQs, (not semi-parametric), for complete tone shaping possibilities, a tube driven resonance circuit, tube effects loop, and variable balanced outputs. For the road, there’s a great sounding crossover, -40 pre and post-eq outputs for the mixing console and footswitchable (foot switch not supplied) inputs and master mute (leaves tuner input on for silent tuning). The chassis of the DB 680 is steel, and can withstand the bumps and grinds of a tour. Most importantly, the ten tube stages make for a sweet, warm tone and smooth feel beyond compare!
The manual can be found on Aguilar's website: . Features:
Made in NYC, NY, USA
All measurements taken with a line voltage of 120 VAC.
All voltages are RMS.
All noise measurements are unweighted.
Tube complement: Five total; two 12AX7A/7025 high-mu twin triodes
and three 12AU7 medium-mu twin triodes
Input Impedance: 1 M ohm (passive mode)
56 K ohm (active mode)
Output impedance: Normal output = 1K ohm.
Balanced output = 600 ohm
Crossover outputs = 75 ohm
Signal to noise ratio: -80 db
Power requirement: 240 VAC/50-60 Hz.
Rack size: 2 spaces
Weight: 17 lbs (7.7kg)

**SOLD**
This incredible amplifier has been at the heart of my high headroom rig for years (coupled with a Aguilar DB680 preamp), and has always remained in a rackcase, so is still in great condition. It is heavy, so an ergonomic case does help.
Official specs:
The Hellborg power amps are set apart from other amps by the fact that they use a powerful output transformer at the speaker output of a solid state power amplifier (such transformers are normally used to match the impedance of the speaker output stage of tube amps). This is done to achieve the warmth and presence of a tube amp while maintaining the clarity and fast attack of a solid state design. The Hellborg Mono Power 500 has an output of 500 watts, the output impedance is selectable (2, 4 or 8 ohms).
Power Requirement : 230 V
Technology : Bipolar Power Amp with Speaker Output Transformer
Power Output : 500 watts
Input : ¼”, 0 dB
Outputs : ¼” and Lockable Coaxial Speaker Connection
Controls / Switches : Level with clip LED Power (On/Off)
Voltage Selector : (115 / 230 V)
Ground / Lift
Output Impedances : (2, 4 or 8 ohms)
Weight : 41,9 lb (19 kg)
Dimensions (W/H/D) : 19" / 2RU / 15,6" (370 mm)
Case not included in price.

Lakland US Joe Osborn signature bass from 2006. Inspired by the specs of the session legend's Jazz Bass, in a stunning Sea Foam Green finished with a matching headstock and aged pickguard.
Rosewood fingerboard with Birdseye Maple dot markers.
The neck is very comfortable and ready-worn like an old Jazz Bass.
Lindy Fralin 60s wind pickups.
Stacked (concentric) knobs. Volume/Tone + Volume/Tone.
Approx 9 lbs but balances nicely.
Serial number JO401.
I believe the finish of this bass inspired Ashdown to produce a limited series of sea foam green cabs. I've captured the minor bumps and blemishes.
Open to trades. Happy to discuss courier options. Will include a Gator hardcase.

I bought this as a backup DI box and never used it. The box is the only thing a bit worn.
Designed to handle extreme signal levels without distortion of any kind, so handy for high output bass guitars and/or keyboards. Unlike an active DI that is limited by the buffering amplifier's rail voltage, the JDI employs a Jensen audio transformer as the engine.

24-bit digital processing circuitry for outstanding and noiseless performance on stage and in the recording studio. It has stereo input as well as stereo out.
Features three different Modes or types of reverb - Room, Plate, and Hall. Room and Plate can run in three variations, A, B, and C.
A couple of chips in the paint, velcro on the base, but still fantastic. Original box.

This is the original edition of this renowned pedal.
It features a useful blend control, and switches which allow you to boost or cut the attack as well as focus on whether you might want to boost the bass or treble. Level and Drive dials control the volume and amount of drive itself.
Velcro on the base.

Oh...and a harp...but a good one is thousands of pounds.
I blame @lawriemacmillan as much as anything. @Lozz196 and I went to one of his gigs - harp player in the band sounded amazing.
Hey!!! I remember, the gig in Bethnal Green where I flew straight from a concert in Poland and borrowed an acoustic bass from you guys Fiona Rutherford was the harpist. Sublime player
