  1. TBH for £140 cant really go wrong, any other DAW with similar capabilities as logic are twice the price i seem to find (i maybe wrong) I wonder if the update has made it possible to load multiple videos into the same logic project that would be handy

That's what I think too. Space designer I think is a good reverb tool, but all the rest just sound... processed, and it's pretty much the same with everything else, unfortunately.

The new visual design is very nice though ^_^ and we might be in for surprise though as on the apple website it does say logic pro x builds on all previous plug inns and a completely rebuilt sound library. So its possible they will be good quality now, but i still don't expect them to compete with the likes of East West's Hollywood strings - have you heard it? sounds amazing! costs ££££'s but if you got the money the quality of sound that can be reproduced using plugins and digital effects now is impressive to say the least.

  3. I think the logic x will be good but... as i found with logic 9 if you want GOOD sounds / mixing tools you have to spend money on third party software such as WAVES plugins / native instruments / some independent synthesizers etc as the plugins provided in logic sound quality wise are poor. Unless this changes with Logic x the only real difference between logic 9 and X will be the extra little bangs and whistles such as the Flex pitch.

  4. I am currently looking to downgrade my rig from a 410 to Some thing that falls in the subject category. I have about £800 to spend. Currently looking at Barefaced Bass cabinets as they seem to pack a punch for their size and weight and have nothing but good reviews for sound quality. I am basically looking for any other suggestions that people have so I can look into them and make a decision :). Another cab I have been quite interested in is a Bergantino CN112 / 212. how do these compare to the barefaced bass cabs has anybody here owned both and can compare?

I am going to be living in London soon with out a car so light weight and portability is essential! :)
