So here we go guys... Due to the upcoming album recordings, I now need a 5 string bass. I'm usually a 4 string player but now the management of my band decided diferent and I can't afford a new MusicMan Stingray5. So, i offer for trade my MusicMan Stingray 2003, for a MusicMan Stingray 5 or Bongo5. The bass is in very good condition, but since i bought it in august 2011, seen about 120 shows, mostly open air, so it has some natural wear. I'll upload some good quality pics tomorow but till then you can find some, in my On Tour album and Events and Social album, on my facebook page;) I'm putting in some cash too. If you got any offers please shout;) Due to the image contracts, I can't play anything but MusicMan now so I can't trade it for any other brand. But if you have a Warwick Streamer LX5, Streamer $$, Spector, or G&L L2500, please tell me also, because i've got a friend with a Stingray5 and he's willing to trade it for these models only. I't extremely possible to get back (keep in mind that i've changed 28 basses in 12 years) but this is not that time. Regarding to the LowB ...yes... same. When i'll repair my soundboard i'll record a soundclip

Hi guys, I'm new around, but playing bass for the past 12 years and now i'm a professional bass player. I used to own 6 'wicks. 3 Corvettes ($$ Ash, Std Bubinga, ProLine), 3 Streamers (LX5, $$5, SS1, SS2). Recently i wanted to quit playing bass and sold everything. After 2 months i've been to mexico on holiday. I've visited Fender factory, and personaly picked up a 5 string Jazz and a 4 string P. Both standards. Now i went back to playing bass in my former band, and i'm extremely happy with my fenders. I compared them head-to-head, to some vintage Precisions, and Jazzs and the mex ones sound better. The low B string in the jazz bass sound exactly the same with the one in the streamer stage 1 and 2. They're that good. But i've spent 2 weeks testing basses at the factory, before i made my choice. I've tested around 300 pieces . I don't feel the need for another wick.... I'm a happy fender guy now.

It's a kind of wood wich is very similar to alder but is more sparkling (more highs, and more hi-mids). Also is less heavier then alder, or northern hard ash but heavier then southern swamp ash.
