I have just bought a Sandberg Lionel from John. A very smooth and easy transaction and good communication throughout. John made sure the bass was well packaged and insured and even sent pictures of the bass packaged. The bass was posted promptly and arrived safely and soundly. Have you thought about taking the guitar into GuitarGuitar in Glasgow? As you may know, they have a repair and set up department in the bass department and if they can’t undertake the work they may know of someone local who can. Merchant City Music also have a repair section and whilst I’ve had some set up work done to a guitar at GuitarGuitar (which is fine). I have no experience of the Merchant City Music repairs department, but they seem like nice guys when you go in and may be able to help if you talk to them.
