1. Thanks for the advice. I know those SX basses are great as i had one once. But, the only reason i didn't put it in the title was that i didn't want to mislead anyone as i'm not convinced this is an SX. When i got it there was no decal (SX or otherwise) on the headstock and no sign that one had ever been there until i put the Fender one on. Also, the headstock is a slightly different shape (actually closer to the Fender) than the "old" SX headstock. So it's still a mystery. If anyone has any ideas, i'm all ears! Thanks Alan.
2. Thanks for the kind words. It really is a nice bass and well put together. For those who may be wondering, i would say it's somewhere on a par with Squier Classic Vibe series in terms of build quality and playability etc. Thanks Alan.
3. This is now on hold pending payment! PS. Special mention to Floyd Elgar for posting this bass on facebook (as i don't have a facebook). Floyd's the man! Thanks Alan.
4. Just sold my Markbass New York 121 Cab to Paul. It was one of the easiest and pleasant transactions i've done. Paul's a gent. Nice to meet you Paul, enjoy the cab! Alan.
5. Bump! The "purest" and most "transparent" combo i've ever played through. Excellent for electric bass guitar, acoustic bass guitar, double bass, you name it. Ta Alan.
6. Hi Johnny C, Yes I do teach at The Institute and yes the pedal is still here. Thanks Alan.
7. HI Tom, Yes the bass is in London. I'll PM you my details. Thanks Alan.
