Meridian Jazz Evolution Carbon 5 String Bass 2018 - featuring a solid body with resonance chambers, in a mat Carbon Black finish. Serial number 00297. - Now £1495 for quick sale, moving house... Italian-made bass guitar from the renowned lutheran Davide Cardone 21 fret + zero fret (22) fretboard made of the highest-quality Congo Ebony with small dot side markers, with a Tiger Maple twin trust rod neck coupled to a solid Ash body featuring, Meridian proprietary resonance chambers, please see photos during the build process. I believe this was one of the first basses, from Davide Cardone to feature this technology. The pick ups are Nordstrand Big singles running through a Meridian onboard pre-amp with Vol, Bal, Hi, Mid, Low, Active/passive switch, passive tone. Hipshot Ultralight clover tuners coupled with Hipshot bridge with 19mm spacing. Achieving an excellent combination excelling in tonal resonance, clarity and punch. Weight approx 10lbs This beauty comes complete with a very well padded Meridian Gig Bag for peace of mind during transportation. *Please note - As you can see from the photos, the tip of the stock has been dented while in the gig bag, on it's journey from factory, and has the indentation mark from the zip. This has not impaired the sound or playability as far as I can tell. This instrument has never been gigged just occasional studio work.
