Totally feel your pain with those music store blues! It's like they're either super welcoming or just too full of themselves. I had a similar encounter with a store in my area, Peach Music, in Colchester. By appointment only? Seriously? They practically made me feel like an intruder! Needless to say, they won't see a penny from me either. I decided to buy everything I needed at an Irish music shop online. That way, it's much easier.
