Just traded my 4 string 3eq stingray for one of these MIA with John Suhr pickups. Mine is sage green. Absolutely lovely bass, guess it just depends if you are a fender or music man type of person. If like me you are a fender person this swap should be for you.

I have a 1977 Precision exactly the same as this which i bought new - £300 in Denmark street back in the summer of 77. Although i have retired it from gigs it is still my first choice for any studio trips. I think the price for this is really good value. I cannot believe that it has not already gone.

The bass is working out fine. 1st gig with it tonight playing for a "Pop Choir". Probably not the ideal 1st outing but a gigs a gig.

Have not get any pictures of the stingray at the moment but will get some organised. It is a rosewood lined neck, black body with tortoise shell pick guard.

I'm confident that anyone who comes to see it will love it. Don't really want to sell either but have aquired a couple more basses and am working on a one in one out system otherwise there would be no end to my collecting
