  1. Thanks for the apology, and I'm sorry if I offended you and that we started on the wrong foot! No hard feelings. all the best. Ben
  2. Ah you're lovely haha I'm done with trying to reason with you. Your passive aggressive replays are growing very old now. Good day.
  3. Pretty sure if we had a poll on here most people would use ear protection. I'd bet money on it actually
  4. I've been in probably about 10-15 bands over 25 years I think my option is fairly valid and accurate
  5. Ha! Was slightly tongue in cheek... Relax 😜🙄 To be fair I don't know many people that play in bands that are so quite they don't need ear protection.
  6. That's pretty cool Itu, but I do think you are probably in the minority unfortunately
  7. I agree. If your band has a drummer that uses solid sticks you need ear protection And even then I'd use some just to be on the safe side 💯
  8. I understand what you're saying man but unless you have a very gentle drummer or one that plays with brushes etc the volume levels are going to require hearing protection imo
  9. That's all very well and good.. but I don't see why you're saying I don't need hearing protection for playing on stage? I think it's quite common? It's really not the bass that can cause the damage as I said the drum kit and high frequency of the guitar is the worse.
  10. Perhaps but there is this thing called a "drum kit" that I have to keep up with. That's what the hearing protection is mainly for. Cymbals generally aren't that great for your hearing 😂 Have you actually ever played in a band?
  11. The one you've just finished wiping down 😂😬
  12. What can I say I love bass. Yes I wear basic (one up from the foam ones) protectors but am looking at getting some custom ones made at some point
  13. I've heard that nl4 connectors won't do anything as they are for bi amp systems so 2 with only use the 2 cores when connected anyways so seems pointless to get the nl4 (4 core ? ) Ones?
  14. That's good to hear. I hope that my guy sells it then. 🤞
  15. Well guys I should have posted on here BEFORE I got the CTM ... Tried it at home into my single big twin and I can already tellI t's not going to cut unfortunately. I should have know. 100 "valve watts" is still 100 watts. Currently looking at getting an ABM 600 from a member on here not finalized yet but hopefully soon... Abm 500 in one big twin Abm 600 into the other My boss bass chorus has two outputs for stereo so I may put the cabs next to each other and try that or run mono into a vertical stack. That should do it Alternatively the abm 600 into one big twin gets me where I need to be and sell on the other bits. It's a learning curve I guess! Cheers guys
