Hi there, A lot of friend of mine have the G50 and some had the G30. Basically, the G30 is plastic where as the G50 is metal. Plus the G50 has better range. People complain about the flimsy G30, which is why I went for the G50. But totally your call.

They are amazing true vintage nickel flats and Optima have been testing these to go with there existing standard guage. This is a light guage: 96 - 75 - 55 - 40 (There only set available in stores currently is 100-80-60-45. This set is great as it's flexible!! And has amazing vintage tone and feel. In my opinion the Optimas are the best sounding flat, now this new guage which isn't available in shops yet is so flexible as well but not floppy like th TI's I have about 4 packs of these going spare, brand new in pack. £20 delivered to a UK mainland address. Stainless Steel Lo Riders 40-60-80-100 SOLD NOW Used only once for 45 min set. (I prefer to stick with my 'Labella 760' flats). These are great 'like new' condition strings. Comes in original packaging/box. Cut for a rickenbacker 4001, but there is plenty of string winding around pegs so there is plenty for other basses, I have a fender precision also and these will go on, no problem at all. Now sold - Labella's new product - "Low Tension Flats" 42-56-70-100 I've cut these for a rickenbacker 4001 with plenty of string winding around the pegs. I used them for a 45 min set, but they are not the sound I am after at all do I wish to move these on. So they are basically brand new apart from being cut. These strings are £48 on Strings Direct, so a bargain at £25 posted to any UK mainland address. If you've got a rickenbacker or similar headstock/neck length and love flats (these are similar to the Thomastik Jazz Flats) these could and a bargain.
