  8. Stainless Steel Lo Riders 40-60-80-100 SOLD NOW Used only once for 45 min set. (I prefer to stick with my 'Labella 760' flats). These are great 'like new' condition strings. Comes in original packaging/box. Cut for a rickenbacker 4001, but there is plenty of string winding around pegs so there is plenty for other basses, I have a fender precision also and these will go on, no problem at all. These are £29.95 from new - my price is £15 with free postage to any UK mainland address.
  9. Pyramid Gold flats 40-55-75-105 Barely used and cut for a rickenbacker 4001, with enough winding. Nice condition strings which haven't been used much. Usually £49.99 new. £22 posted to any UK mainland address.
  10. Now sold - Labella's new product - "Low Tension Flats" 42-56-70-100 I've cut these for a rickenbacker 4001 with plenty of string winding around the pegs. I used them for a 45 min set, but they are not the sound I am after at all do I wish to move these on. So they are basically brand new apart from being cut. These strings are £48 on Strings Direct, so a bargain at £25 posted to any UK mainland address. If you've got a rickenbacker or similar headstock/neck length and love flats (these are similar to the Thomastik Jazz Flats) these could and a bargain.

  13. Labella 760FX flatwound bass 4 string set Strung once on rickenbacker 4003 and used for about 1 hour. Not my thing. £20 delivered to UK address Fender 9050L flatwound 4 string bass set Strung on Rickenbacker 4003 and played for about 1 hour. £10 delivered to UK address Only reason for selling is because I didn't like them as much as my TI flats (tension/feel wise), but they are basically brand new. bare in mind they are cut for a Ric bass.
  14. It's long scale. It's a huge heavy bass the thing sounds insane too. I never use it, but I have put it through my Fender 100T amp/head (which it appears Jeff has has switched to last couple of tours for PJ and RNDM) and it sounds amazing, exact Jeremy, why go tone etc. Yeah, Jeff asked Hamer to design his bass in the same shape as Tom Petersson's (Cheap Trick bass player and first guy to have and so called inventor of the 12 string bass). Petersson's has that fake hole you mentioned.
  15. Haha, me too Sean, hence the username I'm off to Milton keynes this year only as baby is fast approaching, otherwise I'd be right with ya on the tour. We also usually go to lots of shows and country's following this awesome band inc PJ20 few years back which was insane! If you change your mind, I'll always do you a good deal Enjoy the tour dude!
  16. For Sale is my very very rare Hamer USA Custom, 12-string bass. Referred to by Hamer USA as the "Jeff Ament" Bass. (Pearl Jam's Bass Playe) These never went into production and only a handful were made in the early nineties to Jeff's exact specs as the bass was designed for him. In the late nineties, Hamer custom made a few 'tribute' style models for custom orders only for people that wanted a Jeff Ament style bass, but these late nineties ones were not authentic as they didn't have the mottled paint finish or the boomerang inlays. Only these initial earlier models have the exact spec. The number I am told from Hamer is approx 5 of these were made. It is in fantastic condition (near Mint/mint) New Strings. These basses do not come around too often. Google search Jeff Ament to see him in action with this beast. Comes with original custom fitted hard case from Hamer USA. The case does have some damage and scrapes etc. It currently has a few Pearl Jam stickers on the case. I replaced the handle as the original handle broke. This is a heavy bass and case! This thing sounds incredible - Like thunder!! EMG Pickups. If you are familiar with Pearl Jam's Jeremy, Why Go, Leash, Go, Lukin, etc. This is that exact sound... Exact! I have rarely used it but when I have it has been matched with a Fender Bassman 100T and wow. I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan and sorry to see this go, but with three Rickenbackers in my arsenal and a baby on the way lol, I need to let this go. £1750 or offers Based in Essex/London UK [attachment=152292:photo copy.JPG] [attachment=152293:photo copy 4.JPG] [attachment=152294:photo copy 2.JPG] [attachment=152295:photo.JPG] [attachment=152296:photo copy 7.JPG] [attachment=152297:photo copy 6.JPG] [attachment=152298:photo copy 10.JPG]
  17. Yes, the ashdown is only for the upright bass. Jeff has always used vintage Ampeg SVTs for as long as Ive known the majority of the time, his set up usually consists of three big tube heads and the ashdown for the upright bass. Quite often the ampegs are in custom cases. Now though, as from 2012, for Pearl Jam jeff has been using the Fender Super Bassman head as his main amp, with the two custom cases either side, (more than likely backup SVTs). For his current side project, RNDM, I have noticed he is also using the Fender 100T, which is basically a slightly lower powered Super Bassman. Jeffs 100T amps for this tour were custom orange covered. I also use the 100T and it is amazing. I bought mine before Jeff started using the Fenders, and as a huge Pearl Jam fan (hence my username), I was stoked when I saw Jeff had also switched to these new Bassman amps.
  18. Hey guys, So I'm about to move into the all valve world after many years of being a pussy and 'putting up' with hybrids. I play Ric basses so really it's a must . I have always dreamed of blasting my rics through a Fender Bassman and since Fender announched there new vintage style heads, I decided I would make the jump. I really want to get that tube grit/growl paired with my Rics. I've been waiting and waiting for the Fender 100T to hit the UK and still nothing... I ordered the new Bassman 4x10 cab which I now have sitting at home waiting for a head. Then after scouring threads etc, the Orange AD200b mk3 caught my attention. I tried one the other day and thought it was great. So now i'm in a muddle... Ad200 or wait for the 100T? Anyone have either of these amps? Are the Orange head reliable?
