  1. **SOLD**

Beautiful acoustic guitar. Handmade in Canada. Seagulls are part of Godin.

It has a built-in tuner and electronics allowing you to connect it to an amp.

It comes with a Gator GigBag, a strap, a new set of strings, and two books.

The Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QIT is an ideal choice for players who prefer the brighter sound of a Select Solid Spruce top, as well as the great feel and superb sound provided by a hand-finished neck with a slimmer, more traditional nut width.

The cutaway and QIT electronics also make this a great choice for the gigging musician.

I no longer play guitar. I just don't have the heart to keep it in gigbag and not play it if someone else can enjoy it.

I may consider swapping it for a passive Feder P-bass (I would pay the rest in cash)

or a decent bass preamp pedal

    Top Material: Solid Spruce

    Body Material: Wild Cherry

    Inlays: Dot

    Number of Frets: 21

    Scale Length: 25.5 inches

    Nut Width: 1.72 inches

    Neck Material: Silver Leaf Maple

    Fretboard Material: Rosewood

    Finish/Color: Natural

Electronics: Godin EPM Quantum IT (QIT)

    Case: Gigbag

It is a dreadnought slimline cutaway guitar.

  2. Just installed my new Jazz Bass VVT loom from John.

I am very happy with the purchase. Also, John was very helpful and answered all my questions.

It is beautifully made. It sounds great.

It helped me to get more treble from my Fralin Split Coils.

I'll be back if I ever need any looms in the future.

    Hi Jacq

I'm interested in your Elwood 4p and ideally to collect tomorrow or poss Sunday. Can I ask you doubly confirm the weight as that is important. I would be looking at £700 flat if you can run with that. Let me know.

    Thanks

    David.

Hey @ftpart, apologies for the late response. I am out of the home currently (will be back shortly).

The weight is as described in the first post - 3.53kg / 7.78lb ( I used my little luggage scale ).

Can you please send me a Private Message if you are interested? (that way I will get a notification).

    Many thanks

  4. For sale Maruszczyk Elwood 4p 30".

Purchased it here from another forum member.

It is an amazing bass in great condition.

I am selling it as I didn't gel with the short scale.

It has new strings (EB 45-105).

Comes with the original gigbag, certificate, stickers, manuals etc.

    It weights 3.53kg / 7.78lb

    It is a handmade bass.

Woods: Ash body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard.

    Blackburst finish with matching headstock.

    I'd like £740 £713 for it.

New ones currently retail for £1250.

I can post it within the UK using an insured courier. This would be at the buyer's risk and expense.

I have a guitar shipping cardboard box.

  5. Hey,

I've been playing my Fender Player Plus Active PJ for I while now (my first bass) and while I enjoy it I'd like to add a Jazz(y) bass as a second instrument.

I could then have my PJ strung with flatwounds.

Now, there is one thing that can make me stop enjoying even the best instrument, that is the noise. Single coil pups are famous for being noisy.

I know that there are ways to minimise it, but I don't want to go that route. I don't want to but something and then spend time modding it or shielding it.

This is why I'd ideally like to buy something with Active Pickups that are noiseless (Fender's "Noiseless" are not truly noiseless). Also, I'd rather aim for sub 4kg instruments.

Also, I didn't mention, I am interested in 4 string basses only.

I've checked what is currently offered online by most of the retailers... and there is not much in £1K (+/- £200) budget.

The closest thing I found (which isn't available anywhere) is Shecter J-4 Exotic with EMGs or Cort GB Modern 4 (with Nordstrands, which I don't thing are active).

    Any suggestions, ideas?

    PS.

    Sire is out of scope.

  6. Hey all,

New on the forum and still quite new to bass.

I am glad to be here and I hope to learn a lot from the more experienced bass players.

Possibly meet some of you in the future.

    J
