Hi all, Im looking to modify my Sire P7 to remove the tone pot in favour of a single switched "treble off" level. Reason being I don't like the ergonomics of sharing a stacked pot for volume when playing live. This means i need to replace the passive part of the circuit which includes a 10k pickup blend pot. I plan to replace it with a 250k MN blend pot (I couldn't find suitable 10k option). Will this cause problems? I also plan to keep the existing active EQ circuit, and use a dpdt on-off-on switch to select between passive capacitor bypass, passive capacitor in, and active EQ circuit. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of with this plan? Thanks
