Hi, I used to be on here a number of years ago when I was a more active musician. I'm a Yorkshire based Brummy, software developer by trade. A background in export documentation. It's been a number of years since I've played in a gigging band (Science Vs Romance, History of the Hawk) but I still tinker with music at home. I play a Squier Jazz Bass into a nameless practice amp. I tend to record into my iPad. I've always played with a Tech21 BDDI but sadly had to sell it during the pandemic. However, I'm on the lookout for another similar pedal to allow me to practice quietly (and sound awesome) I miss playing shows and the general camaraderie but don't miss lugging equipment around, late nights and poor dietary choices haha Bass heroes - Matt Freeman, Rob Wright and Les Claypool (although I sound more like the first two!) I'm here to dip my toe back into being more actively musical. Finding a local rock band with occasional gigs would be awesome but, equally, I'm quite happy to connect with like-minded folk on here and write songs on the sofa. Have a great weekend everyone!
