  1. I think the weight is around 3.5 kg. Hard to be accurate with the scales I have.
  2. I don't have a weight for it, but I'll see if I can manage to weigh it later today. I don't think it's particularly heavy, but I may just be used to it. It is mahogany, so it's not going to be light either!
  3. I'm currently selling my long scale basses as I move over to medium and short scale. As such, this beautiful and rare Odyssey B300 is now available. These were built in the 1970s by Attila Balogh in Vancouver, Canada. His guitars and basses are known for their superb quality, easily rivalling Fenders and Gibsons of that period in terms of workmanship. It's well worth looking into facts and details about Attila Balogh and Odyssey, as it's a truly fascinating story. I had this bass shipped over from Canada a few years ago. I have barely played it due to increasing discomfort with long scales. It has been well played, and shows the usual wear and tear, but has no major damage, scratches or defects. The body is a flat top mahogany, with an ebony fingerboard, brass nut, bridge and fittings. The Bartolini pickups give this bass a rich resonant tone. It comes with the original hard case. I do travel, so may be able to deliver

  5. I've only had this bass for around eighteen months, and in that time I've barely played it. I'm in my sixties, and have found long scale basses uncomfortable to play, and so have changed to short scale basses. This bass is in immaculate condition. I genuinely can't find any scratches or even buckle rash anywhere. The certificate lists this as natural satin/walnut. It is light, and plays and sounds superb. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works. Comes with the original Overwater case. I do travel, so I may be able to deliver.
  6. Still available, and still possible to deliver to most places.....
  7. I will be travelling south in a few weeks, so may well be able to deliver
  8. Thanks, but I'm afraid I can't take on anymore gear! I work in York so I can easily bring it down for you....
  9. Thank you! The Spoiler I'm keeping is battered and scratched, but just suits me better. This one is perfect...
  10. Thank you - it is a stunner!
  11. This bass is in mint condition. There are absolutely no marks, scratches or dings anywhere, not even light scuffing on the back. All the electrics work perfectly. Medium scale - 32". I've only had this bass since April last year. I bought it from someone in Germany who was a pianist, but who enjoyed playing bass at home. He bought the bass (I have his original receipt), and played it from time to time at home. Shortly after I bought it (April 2024) I had the opportunity to buy an Alembic Spoiler, which I prefer. I can't justify keeping two Alembics, so this one is for sale. I have barely played it. It is truly in immaculate condition, I would doubt there's a better one available anywhere else. I do travel around so may be able to deliver.
  12. Still for sale.....
  13. **SOLD** Selling my Gibson ES-335 bass. It's all in perfect working order, but certainly not mint. The case shows signs of use. As most will know, Gibson only made 400 in each of the three colours (cherry red, black and tobacco sunburst), so they're reasonably rare. Has a beautiful heavy sound. I simply don't play it much, and would rather move it on to someone who will. I do travel around a bit so may be able to deliver. The previous owner travelled to the US and bought this bass direct from Gibson. It was their demo bass, so is probably the very last ES-335 they sold. He also replaced the black knobs and pickup surrounds with light/cream colour Gibson replacements, but the originals will come with the bass so can be turned back to original. Comes with the Gibson certificate.
  14. I recently bought a beautiful relic precision bass from Foya, and had it shipped to the UK. The bass is superb, exactly as described, and Foya was such a great person to deal with; very helpful and friendly. Everything went perfectly. I can recommend him to anyone thinking of buying this gorgeous bass.
  15. No, I'm afraid not. I need to put the money towards a bass I've already bought.
  16. Epiphone Rumblekat bass guitar for sale. In superb condition, I can genuinely see no marks or blemishes anywhere. Bought over two years ago, and played only a handful of times at home. Plays beautifully. Electrics all in perfect condition. Comes with a soft gig bag.
  17. Gibson Les Paul Standard Bass LPB-3 Heritage Cherry Sunburst 2011 Mahogany body, solid carved maple top, rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and twenty medium-jumbo frets. Two thunderbird humbucking pickups, each with tone and volume controls, and three way switch. This bass is in very good condition - there are no major scratches or dings, and it comes with the original Gibson hard shell case as well as the owners manual and certificate of authenticity
