1. Obviously taking into consideration fuel and time (Leaving earlier, and getting back a lot later)?
I'm just trying to work a few figures out for a few new possible clients.
We're a three piece and go in three cars to gigs. We've got a set price we charge for within about 60 miles/mins from a location postcode but then outside of this area I'm struggling to find a fair amount to charge per mile.

Any help or figures?
Ta

2. hey
Cheers for your help everyone, but Ive sorted the issue with the pedal being able to to switched on even without a guitar lead going into it.
For some reason previously the negative from the battery was soldered onto the output instead of the input. (This was not me that did that)
I found out what was incorrect by opening up one of my other Boss pedal and also I found these schematics

Cheers everyone, problem resolved.

3. Cheers for your advise.
Here is where I stand now. I checked continuity and everythign seemed ok, I connected the new LED up again and it worked. So god knows what was going on there. So that parts sorted, so thanks.
OK, now new problem. Someone has obviously messed about with the before, because even with the guitar leads unplugged you can still turn the unit off and on by pressing the switch pedal. I am assuming the whole unit turns off and on because the LED lights up. Any help?

4. Hey all
After reading various reviews on this site I decided to buy a Neotech Mega Strap (The Mega Bass Strap just wouldnt be long enough). Its helped relieve some of the weight issues I have with my very heavy 1975 Fender Precision, but its still not briliant. Does anyone have any further suggestions of what I could maybe add to the strap to help relieve more weight issues?
I obviously dont want to get rid of my bass.

Cheers

5. I'm wondering if different sadles might shift the positon of the string over ever so slightly so that I wont need to goto the extreme measures of boring out the whole in the body that the bridge sits in to move it over about 2mm, and also redrilling the screws that hold the bridge in (and then having to fil the other side with something) The saddles that are on it already as I stated previously are very tightly packed close together and I only assume they are the correct saddles for the Sabre, even though they feel really cheap to me. Does anyone have ay suggestions what other saddles I could try?
Cheers

Crazy money. As stated I only use it in one song, so I'd rather not spend big money.

7. Hey All
I'm after a chorus bass pedal.
Ive got a Zoom B2.1u but I dont like the chorus on that, Ive also got chorus built into a little Roland Micro Cube Bass RX (That I wouldnt ever use live on stage), yet on both of them the volume dips quiet dramatically when they are turned on and I also loose a lot of the actual bass punch. You could put it down to output levels but adjusting them seems to not make any real difference.
So does anyone have any suggestions on a bass chorus pedal?
Something thats still got loads of bottom end punch when turned on.
I only use it in one song, so I'd rather not spend big money.

Cheers

8. Here's a close up off the net, same thing going on here with the angle of the string between the saddle and the anchor, yours looks to be more of a straight line wheras mine and this one are diagonal... (see how the string is centered over the mute knob - yours is off to one side on the E) Also the angle of the saddle might help, you could try lowering the inner one and increasing height of the outer one - its not much but it might make a tiny difference)

Mine do come out diagonally like yours, if they didnt theyd be even more off spaced incorrectly. Mine do look like the same saddles as yours though dont you think?
Dropping one side of the saddle doesnt do anything either though as it just stays where it is (With a gap under the grub screw) as the saddles are so tightly packed close together it stops them from moving when lowering/heightening just one side.

9. Hey all
Does anyone know if a folding/collapsible bass amp stand exists?
I want to raise my 4x10 up off the ground when playing live. Possibly 2 or three feet.
So its got to be pretty stable and take quiet a bit of weight.

Maybe you guys have hacked something else to work?

It definitely need to be folding, as I need it to fit in my (already) full car.

Any solutions?

Thanks

10. Hey,
The nut looks like its in the right place OK, but the nut action height is quiet a bit off compared to the above (or his other) videos. I think I might just get myself some files and file the nut down a bit. I dont mind giving stuff like this a go, plus I'd rather do that THEN take it into a shop for an expert to look at nowing its craped out so they have to do their job properly :)

Heres a few quick pics of here. She's the same year as yours '79
