  1. i had a similar thing a while ago with a warwick of mine, the truss rod was maxed out but still had too much of a bow (plus i snapped the rod while trying to get a few more turns!!) anyhow took it along to howard (the bassdoc) and he very kindly (and brilliantly) removed the fretboard, installed a new rod, replaced the fretboard and hey presto neck was MUCH straighter and the rod fully adjustable again!! and all for a measly £120!! well worth it!! I roed to contact warwick for a price for a new neck but never got any replies!!

  2. i know what you mean! i REALLY regtret selling my S2 years ago! ive had a few others since - eclipse/energy/empathy but whilst they were all great i still wanted my old S2 back!!! ive recently got hold of a trace elliott Tbass however and this thing is cooool!! has plenty of status sound! and a really versatile and responsive eq! well worth a try!!

  3. OMG I WANT it!!!! ive had a fortess masterman my self and regretted selling it! ive got two fortress ones and yes personally i think defo some of the best warwicks produced! I'd love to add tis to my fortress family but sadly no funds and no trades (unless i can tempt you with a trace elliot T-Bass!!?? :)

bought this a few months ago to try a MM as fancied one but didnt want to shell out ona full blown MM jobbie. anyhow, it plays great and has a lovely feel but sadly i'm a jazz profile neck man so cant get along with the neck! just had a quick play and it feels great, however as has been mentioned already with these basses i think it will benefit from new pots as the neck pup is quieter than the bridge pup.

Its in great nick, practically brand new. at work now so will post pics up when get home - until then heres the same bass on the probass website

  5. i only ever use flats on my basses, and for years ive used picato's great tone and lovely feel, ive also used fender flats and they are a little brighter in tone than the picatos but still nice and good feel to them too! I play blues so the tone is great for me!

  6. ive got two fortesses and a streamer jazzman! i love the sound of each very versatile and great players, ive never owned a thumb (although alsways wanted too) i guess the thumb would hold value more? but either way a 'wick is a 'wick and theyre great to own you wouldnt regret buying either
