  1. Fender MIM 60’s reissue jazz, serial number dates this to 2007! All stock (apart from straplocks) plays and sounds great, pictures with/without pickguard so can do the ‘jaco’ look! Body has been ‘aged’ by no means pristine but looks cool (if you like that look, and cheaper than a ‘roadworn series’) currently fitted with fender flats.

  2. Bitsa jazz!
Well the inevitable has happened, something caught my eye and so funds required!
I’ve not long finished this beauty, body is ash with a lovely quilted maple top, neck is really nice quality bound jazz neck. Pickups are EMG’s and the battery sits under the control plate. Bridge is a Hipshot kickass. I’ve added an additional string retainer on the headstock (personal preference) and my personal logo is just stuck on and I’ve not lacquered over it so it’s easily replaced.

  3. Possibly gonna let this go, great bass but I’m just not gelling with it as much as my others.

had it a while now and it’s in very good nick, few minor scuffs from use but no chips/lacquer dents etc

one thing to point out is that I have changed the pickups. I just didn’t get on with the quarter pounders that came stock so I swapped them out for a pair of wizard/hotrod ‘64’s and for me that gave a better tonal option (I don’t have the quarter pounders as I sold them on to finance the 64’s)

currently strung with a set of fender flats but rounds will be put on for sale.

other than that it’s all original. Looks great, plays great

    looking for £400

  4. Anyone have a 24fret fender jazz (the MIK one) and swapped out the preamp? I like the bass itself but seems to be too ‘trebly’ for my taste, even with treble rolled off! I’ve already swapped out the quarter pounders for a set of 60’s spec pups and while that has helped it’s still a bit to rich tone wise!

Just curious as I’m either considering a preamp change or reverting to a passive system
