Yeah, Its a bargain! I paid well over £1000 for this little baby a few years back! Thse basses seem to go for a top dollar in the U.S. but here in the UK its a different matter. Hope it sells via basschat.co.uk would hate to put it on evilbay ;-0

Up for grabs is a Lovely USA Gibson model Tobias Killer B 5 in stunning emerald green finish (Don't see many on the market with this finish!) Condition of the bass is excellent and has no major signs of wear (One small chip close to th electronics cavity). Bass has never been gigged just kept in it's case for the past few years. Please note this bass is from the early run of Tobias killer B Basses 90's which means it's rather good! Sad to see this go but i really need to start moving some basses on.

Yeah, Good point mate. The bass dates from 91 and was a gigged bass from what i was told. There really is no way of telling if it is a neck rejoin?. The guy i bought the bass from confirmed that . If it turns out it was a neck join its a bloody good one as its solid as a rock ;-) But, i really don't think it is as the split does not go over the front of the bass headstock (If that makes any sense) Think £600 is a fair price for a Tobias Basic and the small price tag reflects the condition.

Think i have made it clear if anyone wants the bass it is not in 100% perfect condition but plays great and looks Great. Hell, I would even take [color="#000000"][b]£550[/b]!! [/color]for it :-)

Neck is solid as a rock but it does look like at one point a fix was done (a good one a that) This is why i am selling at this price. Guy i bought the bass off said no fix was ever carried out on neck, so im a bit confused ;-)

Nah they are super rare think this model is from 91 and they only made a limited run of these in Japan. I know the U.S.
Market love to get their hands on these basses but not sure about the UK market.

Up for grabs is a very nice Tobias Standard 5 (Made in Japan) Very very Rare bass and in excellent condition.
No marks on body, headstock and no real signs of fret wear. Only sign of damage is a small chip on the side of the neck.

Played a Killer B4 back in 1994 and it was a nice bass :-) But then they went out of production for a long time i noticed Gibson have brought em back but not sure what they new line are like as they seem very expensive

Im thinking of getting a Tobias Killer B 4 if i can find one that is!!!
I live in the UK and can't seem to find anywhere in Europe that stocks em!!!!

Does anyone out there own one? If so can i have some feedback on how they sound, Play? Are they worth the cash?
