1.
New band project - new dilemma.

We need a name. Covers band, female singer and four blokes. Song list is in flux but think Duffy, Paloma Faith, Amy Winehouse, No Doubt, The Gossip etc. ..and probably the usual suspect "cheesy's" too.

Please save me having to expend any effort... suggestions, general advice and theft all much appreciated :)
just call yourselves "FREE BEER!" i`ll 100% guarantee you`ll never play to an empty house!!

  2.
any more details Bill?
I've been looking for a free "jam-a-long" drummer site for a few days as it goes, but come up nix.. so anymore leads would be good.
    thanks

its not free m8 .. and im certainly not the type of person that advocates getting it from a torrent site...

  3.
I bought it but I never use it. I got it to use with Garageband but it is pretty crap with GB. I think that it works a lot better with other software.

I'm desperate for a 3/4 drum pattern for a project, but it doesn't have anything useable!
what kits / packages do you have?? i use it in ableton live...

  4. anybody else out there use toontracks ez drummer ?? i find it an invaluable tool for jammimg along to.. groove monkee do some decent add on kits in a lot of different genres.. some great odd time meter patterns in the jazz kits... SO simple to programme your own beats.. :)

  5.
Is that a good or bad thing? You could try warwick red label in 40-100. About €9 a pop and not half bad. Started using them after I went back to uni. Cant afford to change the ol prosteels every month no more :)
no bad thing ; )

  6. im needing to change to light gauge strings.. would say a .90 E string still be suitable for drop D tension wise?? im not worried about losing low end as i can boost my amps eq , i just dont want the D flapping around too much.. i play with a pretty light touch.. opinions please?

  8.
No, but they look interesting and I'd like to try a set. They even go up to .200, that's the biggest I've heard of for a bass string!

You could always ask them direct:

shipping charges are a little on the steep side to say the least...
