And Benwhite, yes I have been in and out of the Vic Inn scene type thing for a good 14 years, been in a few bands that played there with the likes of the Drongo's, Varukers, Conflict etc. Best venue around once upon a time, hope things improve there again one day! Seems to have gone a bit quiet.

Hello everyone. I'm Ron and I'm desperately looking for a dedicated bass player to try out for a new band that has just come together over the last couple of months. Myself and the other two members, guitar/vocals, guitar/vocals and drums respectively are all pretty experienced in gigging and recording and have all been doing so in various bands for a good few years. We practice in Lichfield, every monday night and will be looking to practice more once we have a full line up. We are aiming to be gigging by the new year, we have a handful of songs ready to go and a good few more in the pipeline, myself and the other guitarist have been writing tunes and songs together for 3 years or more ready for this band. Ideally we would like to meet a like minded bassist who is happy to play some challenging tunes and make the most possible of our group. Between the 3 of us we have a vast array of influences from Black Flag to The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and everything inbetween but the songs we are currently working on can be most likened to None More Black, Tiger Army and the U.S bombs (or thats what I'd like to think anyway). Any intersted people please email me and I can gladly send you a recording we just did so you can get some idea of what were up to.
