1. I stopped playing when I met my second wife. But after a while she knew I was missing it. So I put my profile online and got some good response.
 2. Hi, I'm a new member. I'm 67 and been playing bass since I was 14. I'm based n the UK. I have been a pro player in the 70's and 80's mainly in South Africa and Germany. I've played all types of music from rock, pop, jazz, Latin, blues, soul , Motown and done a lot of session stuff. I've just had a few years lay off because all that finished my marriage. I've now re married and because of itchy fingers I've started playing again. I'm taking it slowly now , so I play with a 13 piece Steely Dan tribute band based in Chester, and a country rock hoedown band based in Manchester. I have a Wal pro bass 1979. A Fender Flea bass, an Overwater Aspiration Deluxe, Fender Jazz MIM. Alembic Epic. Yamaha BB350F fretless bass(which I love). An electric upright bass. For amplification I use an Aguilar AG500DC, and two GS112's. I also have an Eden EC15 combo which I use with the upright. I will be posting some questions soon about effects pedals and things about refinishing a guitar body.
 3.
I bought a 1963 fender jazz bass customised by Lee Osborne in 1980. I would like to contact him, so if anyone knows him please let him know. He used to play in a Manchester band called Terry Gore and his Showmen back in the 70s and he lived in Bolton at the time. I know it's a long shot, but...................
[post="0"]Hi, It's Lee Osborne here. I bumped into an old friend at a funeral today and he mentioned that you wanted some information on that '63 Jazz bass.[/post] If anyone wishes to contact Lee please do so via PM. Johngh
