1. Me and my mate Gordon attempting to groove unplugged! It's a bit of fun, hope you enjoy.

Cheers for watching!

2.
A VOX std. bass was my first bass ever. :)
Still own it.
Among the basses with the lowest action I've ever owned and I've owned Fodera and KS's.
Very interesting sounding and versatile for a passive, one mic, bass. Got a great 80's feel to it.
Good luck with the sale!
Thanks JensWest!

Okay, the Yamaha is now sold. Who wants a slice of Vox history? Who's after a good P/J fretless? (Strung with flatwound nylon strings! I'm happy to put on 'normal' round-wounds if that's not your thing though)

3.
Are prices including P&P?
No they're not, but I can say that I've looked up postage for the Vox and that would cost £20 by Parcelforce next day delivery.

4.
I used to own one of those Vox basses and it was great fun. You were right to put the price up, still a great deal for somebody
Thanks Burrito, I agree it is great fun; it's got a lot of character. I just prefer my regular P bass, and it's a shame it's not getting played, which is the only reason for me selling it!

5.
Great collection, although you may want to seek advice re the VOX; I suspect its worth more than the £80 you are asking. (70/80's Jap crap)

good luck

Thanks Andy, have done some research and adjusted the price accordingly.

6. Time to sell a few basses to make room for a few more basses :)

Vox Standard bass, this one's a bit of a rare oddity - Made between 1982-1985, 1 precision style pickup near the bridge, volume/tone and series/parallel switch.
Condition.. well used! Quite a few dings on body and neck, but plays just fine. SOLD for £110

Hohner Professional PJ Fretless, Fender black nylon tapewound strings, mild fingerboard wear £90

A Yamaha RBX-170, Violin burst, P/J pups, very shallow scratches on the rear (barely visible) SOLD for £70

No-name fretless electro-acoustic, could be a 'Swift'... A bit buzzy round frets 1-4, otherwise it's fine. Good for noodling... SOLD for £20

Thanks for viewing, hope you've seen something you like.

(EDIT) VOX SHIPPING:

Approx. £20 in the UK

Approx. £80 in Europe, insured up to £200, 1 day delivery.

OR feel free to arrange your own courier, that's cool too!

I have Bass - sized boxes and many rolls of bubblewrap and parcel tape!

If you live in or around the M25 I'm happy to deliver it myself (for cost of petrol) or meet you somewhere in the middle.

7. I'd just like to chip in and say that (even though this bass kinda speaks for itself)

1) Dave is a top bloke
2) I've seen (and heard!) him using this bass several times and it sounds great
3) I've played it unplugged (somewhat randomly), and it feels great
4) I would be buying this if I had the money (I imagine much like many people here...)

In conclusion, have a bump!

8. Hey folks,

They aren't vintage or expensive basses or anything, but in my young foolishness I sold
both my first ever bass and my first ever fretless bass on eBay a couple of years ago -
and am now hankerin' to find them... somehow!

I'll post some pics if I can find the ones I used for eBay, but one was an Epiphone Viola bass,
and the fretless was a red warwick rockbass corvette with an unlined fingerboard. Both 4 string.
I believe you would've bought them from 'starfireluke' on eBay, that's my brother, he sold them
'cause I didn't really know how to use eBay back then! Anyway if you recognise them, and you think
you've got one of them (even if you fancy holding onto it!) could you let me know and post a pic or
something, it'd be nice to know where they are at least.

I'll try and dig up more clues to give you soon, I know it's a long shot but it's worth asking!

Cheers!

Matt

9. Bassbunny - thanks for the advice, I'll check out that posting too.

James - If I hadn't just bought a TC rig I would've been very interested! Plus, I think this one's going to septicrat. Also (I could be biased, but) the Combo450 from TC is coming out soon, you should check that out if you're looking at combos.

Steve - PM'd again!

Thanks everyone...
