Finally tried to take some pictures.. Apologies for those who had been waiting but as I had sold my D-35 I wasnt relying on this sale to buy my next bass etc.
Also, it's a nightmare trying to capture trans-teal because digital cameras make it seem bluer.. so I've shone 3 different floodlights at it and this way you get the colour AND every single tiny scratch 😆
(Most of these are nothing like the photos depict.. unless you also shine floodlights at it and stand 2' away!)
There's three small 2-3mm dinks and some very fine surface scratches but it's in great condition for its year etc
It does have a Musicman case, which at some point has been slightly damaged but repaired and is solid 👍🏼
I'll take more photos on request.. but it's Panto season and I'm in-between shows just now..

I have quite a few that would work this situation but I'm waiting for his fat, balding period for the true tribute gig!
(Just get a sunburst/maple pbass 👍)

I owned a rehearsal facility and would often get asked to sit in other bands rehearsals.. even ended up doing gigs I didn't want to purely to keep the business 😅

As someone who was a massive fan of The Human League in the early 80s (I even sported the Phil Oakey asymmetric hairstyle in 1981) but I was never in a position to see them live back in the day. I finally got to see them play 10 years ago and while it was enjoyable, in hindsight it re-enforced the feeling that I'd missed out by not having seen them in 1980. These days the line up is Phil, the two girls and a 3 session players. The set list is mostly taken from Dare and the 2 subsequent albums (that's what the majority of their audience want). They played one pre-Dare song (Circus Of Death). From what I've read since seeing them I doubt if the set list will have changed much, main variable being which early song they do as a part of the encore. I think the only way I be tempted to see them play again would be if it was the original line up with Adrian Wright doing the slide show playing Travelogue and earlier material.
I saw them do the Dare 40 year anniversary show last year (or the year before? ) and we were lucky to be front and centre in the Arena. Superb
The thing that amazed me was Oakeys voice was just perfect.. and they really did put on a great gig

I quite like a few tracks by the Blossoms and Crowded house, don’t they used to be Split Enz, and I didn’t know human league were still around
I've sold the Human League tickets and bought tickets for the Damned the same night.. much more me!
Don't know anything really by Blossoms despite them being Stockport like I am!
I sold them a guitar 2 years ago.. Gibson Dove. God I miss that!
(Crowded House was great tbf and am just back from Public Service Broadcasting which was ace!)

Eagles, their final night on Saturday 8th at the Co-op arena. Had a VIP suite and the whole experience was superb!
Then Pet Shop Boys on Sunday 9th at the same venue. Not so much my thing but tbf a very good show!

Yeah I have a D41 as well!.. both are beautiful
My D35 was bought by an affluent man to learn guitar on! He gave up almost immediately and "only ever opened the case to smell it" 😆

Chameleons at the Ritz, Manchester. Just great.. as always
Supported by RUTS DC.. I'd somehow never seen them live before and they were absolutely superb. Blew me away tbh. Tightest band I've seen this year.

Saw them last month and it was absolutely the best I've ever seen them! Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Paul Gray and Monty Oxymoron. Just superb.
