  4. Hi all Out of fear of hacking basses and ending up sad and angry I thought I’d pass on the pups to others. - Dimarzio DP122 - all good. Has a kink on the red wire but I’m sure someone can isolate or compensate for it. - 55 posted SOLD - Wizard J pup 88 - bought here yonks ago to add to my Warmoth P but kept going back and forth. Finally, I decided not to go with it. 45 posted
  5. Hi all Always overshoot on the requirements This stuff was bought so that I have a spare set of pedals when I go back home to gig 🤓. And I bought them over COVID with the funds that I would have spent on food and coffee while commuting. We all did crazy things over that period. anyway - Radial JDI - pretty much new, can’t find the box. 175 posted. SOLD - Darkglass X Ultra boxed. This is the V2 with Aux and headphone ports - 215 posted - Markbass Octaver may have the box - 75 posted - Markbass Tube Drive no box - 65 posted can do hand over at King’s Cross with some notice. Travelling to Sheffield next week too
  6. absolutely. Will check. I am thinking of buying some tools and get on with routing on my own god help us
  7. Been wanting a Dimarzio DP122 for my Warmoth for yonks. Then I wussed out and even cooled off from getting a Jazz pup in the bridge position. Enter Bronco which I seem to have fallen in love with. wondering if I should route it and get two concentric pots vol/tone for each pup? There’s cons to adding money leading to a “you can’t polish a turd” conclusion. The force is strong….
  8. Hi all Didn’t trust Philip Conrad on his JMJ pushing so went on my own to trial a few ‘stangs including JMJ briefly. Among them were the Squier one which is strung with Chromes and the Vintera currently strung with Labella MUS ones. Both sound awesome for the money and Vintera feels sooo awesome. I think it is the chunky neck. I then stumbled upon a Bronco pumped up with Tru Bass strings and an SD quarter pounder at a stupid price. Added to that the chunky neck which I love and the 60s cartoony (Pink Panther) sound I am keeping it. So 500 quid plus postage for Vintera not 750 250 quid ish plus postage for the Squier. Both come dwith cases and I’m happy to hand deliver to London or pick up Canterbury. SOLD Unless someone has something crazy to offer I will hold out for sale-only Cheers Fatos

  9. This is the type of neck that Mike Lull used to put together Jeff Ament’s bass which featured on Pearl Jam’s Ten album . I bet it sounds amazing.
