1. Upgrading very soon so I'm wanting to move on my BTB200.

Its in black in excellent condition I'd give it an 8 or a 9 out of 10.

Whats it worth to anyone on here?

Now for sale see the 4th post.

Cheers for all of the help boys and girls.

Im only looking for a 3eq stingray preferably in natural, but the colour is not that important as long as the condition is good.

What should I be looking to pay for one of these any ideas?

  3.
Are you buying new or secondhand?
If you're buying new then be aware that any manufacturers warranty you get won't be valid in this country.

Also, in case you don't know this, the VAT & import duty is calculated on the combined cost of the bass AND the postage.
Second hand, looking for a Stingray but there seems to be a shortgae on them on ebay at the moment for what Im willing to pay.

  4. From the US I know that I'll have to pay 3.9% plus vat (not sure if this is 15% for importing or 17.5%) and the the usual handling charge. Are there any other risks I should know about? I've put a post on a EB forum with the serial number just to make sure its a genuine guitar.

  5.
I have a beautiful natural 3EQ Musicman Stingray with maple neck from 2005. It is in mint condition and plays beautifully. However, I now own a Fender USA 75 Jazz in natural so I fancy changing the natural Stingray for a coloured one. I would also really like to try a 2EQ stingray if possible.

So if anyone has a 2EQ Stingray in black or Teal with maple neck and would like to swap for a 3EQ natural Stingray with maple neck then give me a shout. I would consider 3EQ if no 2EQ's are available. I would also consider Pacific Burst or Cherry Burst if either of these are offered. Please note that my Stingray is in mint condition so I would like one of similar quality.

Let me know what you have.

Looks good mate, wish I had something to offer.
I swear I've seen that bass listed regularly with the same photo...just like a stunning mid-90's bright orange burst 'ray with the clear pickguard and maple neck which regularly used to pop up. I am probably wrong, but I'd want to see it in the wood (so to speak) before handing over any cash!

Mebby ask for a photo with it and today's paper or something?
I've sent him a few messages now and there has been no response, might be a dodgy one.

  7.
£150 maybe? i hope you're not planning to fund a stingray with this alone, i'll assume you're not THAT naive...
God no, I know the price the Rays tend to go for anything over 100 would be a bonus for mine, I'll just have to leep looking.

  8. In black in excellent condition, does anyone know how much I could exect to get for this as I'm hoping to get a Stingray?

Not looking to sell just yet just interested thats all, apologies if this is misplaced.

  9.
Hi I own an Ibanez BTB 200 with a small amp. Been playing for around a year with little success, lately had a few lessons and it has spurred me on to practice more and improve, I really want a Stingray but no joy just yet. Any idea what my bass will be worth as I hope to sell it to get that Ray soon?

    Cheers
Anyone ?

    Cool forum btw.
