I bought this bass last year from phil_the_bassist for £100. The poor guy seemed to be going through a torrid time, and needed to sell his gear pretty quickly. Despite the bargain price, the neck needed reshooting (Bass Gallery £80), a new set of DR Highbeams (£35) and a case for its unfeasably large head (£50). I still have the receipts.
The instrument has served me well, but I have now acquired something a bit tastier and don't really need two fretlesses.
Passive with loads of knobs, and you can get some serious growl out of this beast. It ain't pretty, but it does sound like a proper fretless and will match the GWB35 etc.
I will take £150 for it (including new case and an extra set of Ernie Ball flats that have been used for a week and I couldn't get on with.)
I am based in SE London.
Cheers,
D
ps - If you're double bass player, also check out my German bow for sale. -
Unlike my old english bass which needs about twenty humidifiers, these laminate basses don't give a stuff about humidity changes and never crack.

I have used this bow only four times (once with the RPO) and although its great with a lovely balance and reponse, I simply now have too many. It is called Claude Marchard and sold exclusively by Thomas Martin (luthier and ex LSO bass principal). A lovely bit of pernambuco with silver mountings, this bow is modelled on the old H.R. Pfretchners.
Tom Martin is currently selling these new for £1000, but I'll take £700 for mine. I'm based in SE London but would be happy to post (to the UK only).
