  2. NOW SOLD

The Mackie 1402VLZ is a great little 14 channel mixer. Ideal for either studio or live use.

It's in good condition, just gave it a little test and all seems well. Some of the washers have tarnished a little and the fader knobs have gone a little yellow but all purely cosmetic. Includes instructions and a kettle lead.

Looking for £100 inc delivery, not looking for trades I'm afraid.

  4. Hi guys,

Have a set of Dimarzio DP123 Model J Pickups available, surplus to requirements.

They are about 6 months old, still have the original box and screws as you can see in the image. The pickups were professionally fitted into a jazz, hence the full length of wire on each pickup has been shortened but still plenty to play with.

For those that don't know these are hum cancelling pickups that deliver a ballsy tone (def not a vintage J tone) with a real hot output. They also have adjustable pole pieces that allows for better string to string balance.

Plenty of good reviews around...talkbass in particular:

    Going for £65 posted.

And finally a Pandeiro...a what I hear you say. Well it's a Brazilian percussion instrument, like a tambourine but with a tuneable head (via a standard drum key). I have since upgraded mine so have no need for 2. Worth checking a few youtube videos to hear just what top players can do ( try Marcus Suzano). I bought this in brazil about 4 years ago...and just to confirm this is a budget version but good enough one to get going on...SOLD

  7. Emu Proteus 2000 Sound Module for sale - in good condition with an additional ROM added (The Rob Papen Techno one....I think from memory)

The sounds in the module cover the whole spectrum of synthesizer type sounds, from real instruments to synths to bizarre sounds and effects. I think it was released in 1999 or 2000.

Here is a review from sound on sound:
    http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar99/articles/emuproteus.htm

Based on average second hand prices that I have seen how about £150, happy for someone to collect or can courier for an additional £10
