    It sounds fat! Sound is obviously difficult to describe, but it adds something to the single MM sound you get on a Stingray, and is different to the double MM sound you get on a lot of basses. The MM pickup is coil tapped too, so with some knob twiddling, it should allow you to get a jazz like sound as well.
