The boxed tapes were then signed off by the MU (who, it should be stressed, did this believing they were signing off legitimate tracks, so were absolutely acting in good faith).

When it came to the programme the backing track would simply be swapped back to the original backing track (supplied by record company or artist) and you'd be miming along to top LA session players etc who played on the original.

It was one of the most soul destroying experiences imaginable, but it paid.

Doesn't the MU still produce a directory listing musicians?

Thank you very much! Great answer. Are the agencies contacts you speak of more towards the personal contact side or did you join these agencies?

Either way I am intrigued as I'm fairly unaware of where to go even for dep work. Networking has been my main squeeze but that can only go so far sometimes.

Hey everybody! I've been on tour for 6 days now and I'm suffering from some cramp. I've been doing stretches, warm up/warm exercises, but they don't seem to be helping. I think maybe I'm not stretching properly? Any thoughts?

Played with you guys not too long ago! Had to leave to head back to Scotland half way through your set because of our driver sadly But what I seen was awesome! Had the some BTRL tunes pumping the other day. Got my living room mosh on haha I can't come to the gigs but I hope they Go well!



Note to all other BC'ers: I highly recommend seeing these guys if you can and if you can't check them out online!

They're part of a handful of bands helping to keep our scene alive and they are doing it oh so well!

I'd recommend the Schecter Diamond Series California Custom 5 string! I've been playing one for like 5 or more years now and it's sweeeeet.

Go with what you're most comortable on! I leard how to play on a 5 string... So I play a five string! A good bonus of it aswell is, you can play a 4 string no problem if you have to switch. Most bassist I've met who play 4 are just baffled by the other string, but if you play a 5, that won't be you

I'll probably be asleep by the time they move this, but: If you look near the input on the cab it will say where it was made and in relation to the colour of the speakers. If you have black ones, I don't know if they have a name or not, then you just have whatever Ashdown has called those range of speakers haha. The blue ones tho are Ashdowns Blue Line Driver range.

My ABM BP has Blue Line Drivers and thats made in the UK but My ABMUSA 4x10 has black speakers and that is Made in the UK but assembled in America or some malarky. I'd actually say I prefer the sound out of my USA but they're both beast.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say yours was made in the UK
If it's good then who cares!
