1.
If you can do it for £100 delivered, then i'll take this please? Can you post monday or tuesday at the latest as now have a session on Weds that I could really use this for!!

I'd recommend either www.freightsearch.com or www.parcel2go.com if you're looking for quotes.

    Cheers,
    James
Hi James, £100 delivered is a fair price & I'm happy to let it go for that but unfortunately I Cant get it out until later in the week, I'm away on business for a few days. Let me know if your still interested.
    Cheers
    Chris.

  2.
I'm pretty sure that status fives are all 18mm spacing apart from the kingbasses which come in two different spacings.

Cheers for the info Andy, I tried to measure it but its kind of difficult to do accurately & I couldn't find the spec online.
    Many thanks.

  3. Hi everyone,

the last part of my rig now going up, Ashdown MAG 115 cab in excellent condition (never gigged). specs are: 1x15" "blueline" speaker handling 250 watts at 8 ohms finished in black carpet with steel grill. Weighs 27kg. I'm looking for £90 & it is in near new condition. I can arrange a courier but owing to weight collection is preferred (from Birmingham).
    Cheers for looking.

UPDATE - not enough interest in this! :) its a stonking (18 month old) cab that is taking up a big space in my lounge & so I'll knock it out for £75 to anyone who can collect it!!

  4.
I'm looking to replace mine, would love an old school ampeg like sound but in a package I can actually lift of the ground! anyone with ideas or advice I'd love to hear them!
Price drop bump! :)

  5.
Hey mate - whats the string spacing, scale length, weight and how does it balance?
Hi,

Scale length is a 35", weight wise its no featherweight but not obscenely heavy (my sandberg jazz weighs more) & the balance seems pretty good to me, no neck dive probs, string spacing? I'm not entirely sure, obviously its narrower than a standard 4 but the neck profile on one of these is fairly shallow so you can still play the thing in comfort; I can still slap on it & I have zero skills in that area so it can't be that tight!
    Cheers for looking.

  6. Hi everyone

This is a status S1 graphite necked 5 string. The bass is in great condition with a really nice wood top & sounds awesome. The neck & fret work are in top condition & the only blemish is very small amount of buckle rash on the back of the body. I got this bass in a trade with JD1 recently & it is a really great sounding bass, loads of punch & definition as you'd expect with a Status & the B string is nice & tight, very playable! I love this bass but have enough trouble coping with 4 strings so would be looking to either sell at £650 ono or possible trade for a status S1 or S2 4 stringer in good nick.
    Cheers for looking.

  7.
Here's the original listing:

    http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=lakland

I acquired the bass in a trade recently and to be honest its not my cup of tea. I'm used to P-basses and I find I have nowhere to rest my thumb when playing. Fussy 'eh? But that's me! Its true what everybody says about these, the sound is massive and very versatile. The preamp allows you to set the mid range frequencies which gives you endless tone possibilities. I took it to a gig tonight and was thoroughly impressed with the sound but I struggled a bit with it. I know if I keep it I'll never really use it which is daft.

I'd be looking for £550 inc Postage or swapsies with a US Precision.

    Cheers
It's a huge bargain, I've played it & it is one fantastic bass, the pictures don't do it justice as it really is a stunner!

  8.
I'd be interested in this but postage would be an issue, I would fear?
Yep, I haven't checked but I reckon it has to be the wrong side of £30, it weighs 28kg, I can find out if you like? let me know.
    Cheers.

  9.
Whoa ! You can't do that to me ! Especially when you live a mile away !

Do you accept Subway vouchers ?!
Mmmmmmmm.......... subway! If it doesn't go with in the next 2 weeks I'll put it under the stairs & you can drop me a line when you have some wedge

  10.
If you want mate I'll give you £120 for your Jazz and then you have no worries
Ahhhh... would you like me to gift wrap & courier that or will you collect!! :)

  11. Hi everyone,

This is an Ashdown ABM 210 cab (inc tweeter) in excellent condition with little use.
Specs are: 8 ohm, 325w power handling into 2x10" "blueline" drivers, HF tweeter. Pics to follow.

I'm pricing at £99 ono for a quick sale so if your interested drop me a line.
    Cheers for looking.

  12.
Do you mean bump? :)
yeh, I'm not keen on trace elliots - too green for a start! Seriously, though, the tone sounds too digital to me and the overall feel is very.... preset-ish
I'm looking to replace mine, would love an old school ampeg like sound but in a package I can actually lift of the ground! anyone with ideas or advice I'd love to hear them!

  13.
You ought to come and try the MM Sub 5 that I have on sale. It's what an SR5 should have been.
Hi, don't suppose you'd be interested in a trade for a really clean status S1 5 string? Really nice bass & has the punchier sound your looking for, I'm on the look out for a P bass + my pansy fingers cant cope with a 5! If your interested let me know.
    Cheers.

  14.
Good luck with the sale, this is gorgeous and I'd have it in an instant if I had the spare cash. Somebody's gonna get a cracker here, I'm pretty sure my JM4 is a keeper for life.
Yeh, its a really nice bass & I'm loathed to part with it but its not getting enough playing which is a sin!

  15.
What did I say??
I knew you'd get shot of it once the Shukers turned it.

This bass is damn good (I know cus I've played it!!!) as good as most USA fenders, if not better.
Ahhh...you could always buy it, you knows its a bargain, could go with all your warwicks & rics!

  16. Hi everyone,

I'm selling on my California JM as I have too many basses & alas the Sandberg isn't getting played enough & I could do with the cash! Specs are: Standard J body in Cherry burst, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, Delano J & MM pickups, 2 Band active with passive bypass switch, Sandberg hardware. The J/MM configs list around the £900-950 mark & this one is just over 12 months old & in pretty much mint condition. I'm dropping it to £575 (if collected) for a quick sale. Courier would be a possibility but collection preferred (based in Birmingham). Thanks for looking & drop me a line if your interested.
PS I'm not really looking for trades but may be tempted by a clean fender USA P bass, duck dunn/bob glaub sig or even a 4 string status S1/S2 + would discuss a possible cash balance either way :)
