1.
Hi Roman Very nice bass ... Did you ever use it back the at a place in London called Prime Time, a rehearsal studio near London Bridge? Saw one like it there years ago and the guy who owned it was also called Roman and he played in a band called 'Raising Cain' if I recall correctly? Hence the reason for asking! Anyway, good luck with it... Nik
Yes indeed.. I'm the same Roman. Did we ever meet? I haven't heard the name Raising Cain in a long time! I used this bass on most of the sessions did there in the 80's. I now work with a different company in the US, called US Masters ( the link is in the previous posting) and I really love their basses (and guitars actually) It took a lot for me to change basses as I played the Goodfellow for well over 15 years. Cheers, Roman

 3.
It certainly looks like a pre Lowden Goodfellow to me.. and quite a nice one. As for finding a buyer... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=50227 As for the value, it depends on the buyer and how much they are willing to spend! As this looks to be an original by Bernie himself, that immediately makes it more desireable. I have seen these go between 700 and 1000 UK pounds and looking at the condition of this one, assuming that there isn't a hideous amount of bucklerash, you should be looking at selling towards the higher figure. The bass gallery in camden had a fretless for sale at around 800 pounds. I don't know what it went for in the end, but it wasn't as nice as your example.
Thanks very much for the info! I'll post this on the marketplace but I'm not sure I'll sell it at this point. It's probably worth keeping rather than selling it at the going prices you quoted. Cheers,, Roman
 4. Hello! I have one of the early, original Goodfellows that I got in '85 or so. It has no serial number (unless it's hidden under the neck where it meets the body). It has been sitting in my closet for about a dozen years now, as I have had a sponsorship with another small bass company here in the US called US Masters. (here's a link if anyone's interested http://usmasters.com/bassgallery.htm) I'm trying to find out what my Goodfellow is worth as I would like to sell it. It's a great instrument and deserves to be played. Any help that you can offer would be most appreciated. Here are some photos Cheers, Roman
 5. Hello! My name's Roman and I'm new to this blog/chat thing, so if I offend anyone with the incorrect chat etiquette, I apologise in advance.
