Like others have mentioned, the last set of Fender flats I had had a lighter green silk on them, almost sea foam green.

Just done a bit of digging and they could be......

Hofner might do a regular scale set too?

The other option is Fender 9050s. Looks like someone asked a similar question over on TB a few years back. Yours still look darker than the 9050s though and more in line with the Hofners, but they might have darkened with age.

One thing I did note when I was selling a bass a little while ago was someone who messaged me through FB Marketplace and made a pretty lowball offer.  Now I recognised the name and while he didn't declare it I know he worked for a well known retailer and I concluded that he was looking to procure to put it through the shop.  No problem with this but was irked that he didn't declare his affiliation.

    Hummmmm sounds familiar (me too)

  3. NS Wav Radius 4, I bought this recently here and have probably picked it up 5 or 6 times, Ive put it back up as I’m looking for a stingray as a trade + cash, preferably 2eq natural or sunburst and something must go (I’ve shamelessly used the original pics, thanks daz, hope it’s ok), anyway it’s as new and unique. It’s advertised for straight sale at what I paid for it (which is a bargain) but I’d like 600 as a trade value.
    can travel a bit

Any shop has to put their percentage on. Otherwise, there is no point in running the shop. I have dealt with BB a couple of times. Once, something went wrong which was neither their fault nor mine and Wil's customer service was outstanding - absolutely above and beyond.

I get that and their service is not in question at all and I’ve chatted to Will also…. ‘bloody lovely bloke’  as the OP says I’m curious on the effect on prices🤷‍♂️

  5. Don’t know if any of you guys check the site out very often but prices seem to be creeping up, do you think BassBros have an effect on market prices? I know every business needs to turn a profit but wow…… I’m looking for a Natural/Maple stingray and I see there was a nice Stingray Classic on here at 1650 now advertised on the Bassbros site at £2k! I guess if they’re paying a decent price and you need to shift something why not! I’m not knocking these guys in anyway and wow they get some great stock (most of which I haven’t seen advertised anywhere else).

    What do you all think???

Glad I got out and sold mine for £11k 6 months ago ;)

11k!!! Really? You’ve played a blinder and he/she has had a nightmare (or just wayyyyyy too much disposable income) it’s wood & wires! Oh……..IMHO🤣

  7. I’ve just bought one of these, I’ve had many basses (inc P’s) and these are brilliant, as good as CIJ/MIJ whose owners seem to think they’re worth £1k now🤦 and soon to be the next JV.
I can’t leave without saying the common BC call of:

’stupidly cheap & ‘this won’t hang around for long’🤣……but seriously, great basses & GLWTS

  8. Kramer DMZ4001A, 1979, superb condition, plays great with tons of sustain, minimal fret wear, I had a pick up surround made which looks more aesthetically pleasing, (no drill extra holes and the original is included) lovely grain and includes the original hard case.

I should imagine this is quite rare now.

Trade wise I have 2 specific wants….1. Musicman stingray, natural/maple preferably 2eq 2. Fender American precision sunburst with maple or RW neck (no 44mm nut widths pls) cash adjustments either way and can travel within reason for a meet up
