Sadly the time has come to part ways with my double bass, I'd like to think that one day I'll come back to the instrument but for now its goodbye.

I got this in a trade on here around 10 years ago so not sure of its exact age, I think these used to be sold by Thomann around that time??

I had it fully set up around 8 years ago, at that point the nut, bridge and tail piece were all changed for higher quality replacements.

I'd describe the condition as pretty good - a few small scratches on the body but for the most part its been very well looked after. There is some wear on the finger board where the paint has worn off. See photos for full details.

It's currently strung with Gut-a-likes, these are a couple of years old but have hardly been played so are still in good condition. Acoustically they're pretty quiet strings but plugged in they sound great. 

Included in the sale are the following:

Shadow SH95 pick up - good condition, I've always been pleased with the sound

Roth & Junius bag - very thick padding, good condition

Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum Bass Pre-amp - sounds brilliant but this one does have a loose power connection, I've just always used it with a 9v battery and its been fine

Stand - nothing fancy but it does the job

Bow - never used by me, I suspect this is of limited quality

Everything you need to get you going!! 

Postage isn't really an option - I'm based in Nottingham and happy to drive a couple of hours for a meet up or delivery if required.

I play one of these as my main bass at the moment, love it! Great fit for the blues/country band. 
 

Flats and a pick are essential for these!!

Fender Flea Jazz Bass. Not much I can say about this bass that you probably don’t already know. They’re just fantastic basses. Sounds great but is surplus to needs so putting it up for sale. I’ve had it around 3 years and played 2 gigs with it so it’s pretty much as new condition. Currently strung with daddario chrome flats. 
 

I’ve got a hard case so would be willing to post but at the moment I can’t see any way of doing this and getting insurance - if you know a way of sending fully insured then let me know? Happy to drive a couple of hours from Nottingham for a delivery/meet up.

Up for sale is this CIJ 62 P bass. I think it’s a 2004 model from what I can figure out from the serial number. I’m also guessing this is a non-export model, based on the Japanese manual that came with it. I’ve owned it for around 10 years and it’s served me well, moved on to playing a jazz bass though so it’s not getting played much. It does have a couple of dings around the side of the body - check the pictures. Currently strung with Chromes. 
 

I’ve managed to get hold of a hard case so postage is now an option - let me know if you want a quote, guessing it’s around the £20-30 mark for insured post nowadays?

Would also be open to discussing trades for a Mustang  or other shortscale if you have one?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I like the sound of DaVinici Resolve (especially if its free!) - will give that one a go.

As per the title really, looking for recommendations of which video editing software to use to create a lockdown video for the band?

I don’t think that’s a shot of him playing. The hand is there to provide scale against the mini model of the Thunderbird bass?

I’ve got the same bass but am a bit nervous about adjusting the action as I’ve never done it at the body end before. Did you have to take the neck off or loosen the neck screws?

Wouldn’t that mean the conversion would be to a guitar and not a bass? Sounds like a bass in the video above?

I play in an originals acoustic pop/folk band but this song has been a permanent fixture in our set since we started. Never fails to get the crowd going and gets the most unlikely audience members dancing.
