After thinking on it I'm going to keep the bass as far as I can so I really love it.
Very sorry to the potential interested. -
Hi Si,
Guess you mean a little displaced? yes it was, but it's now fixed. ^_^
The new varnish on the headstock, still fresh:
I have ordered two new dome knobs and a '62 tortoise pickguard replacement that will be including with the sale. -

Bought just a few days ago from a italian store that had it advertised on eBay. It's a Fender Precision bass from 1968 refinished in a wonderful fiesta red as the Pino Palladino '62 P- bass.
Was sold as 100% original (except the pro nitro refinishing) but my luthier check the pots and are quality replacements. All of the rest is 100% untoched, unmolested and original.
I have the chance here in the forum to get now a Ric 4003 Blueburst that is my main priority, so with two pre-CBS Precision at home this one have to go.
It's currently at my luthier's workroom that have already done a great set-up with LaBella flats. He is also applying just now a new varnish on the headstock so after 41 years was on average condition. Tomorrow will be at home again.
I don't want to do any money with it but neither lose too much, so for 2095 pounds SHIPPED to any european country including UK it's yours, this amount almost cover what I paid for the bass, the luthier receipt and the shipping cost to your home with a traceable courier service.
Trades could be considered but always with cash your way so I need it to get the Ric.
Take a look but in advance let me tell you that this bass sounds TERRIFIC with a punchy, rounded and warm tone. Frets have a lot of life and truss rod work flawless.

Absolutely, my german friend.
Thanks! -

By the way, if you want a direct trade for a 5 strings Warwick FNA Jazzman LTD just let me know. I have a friend with that bass that had been searching for a while a Lakland DJ for a swap.

Bump for an awesome Jazz Bass. I bought here a couple of them, the last one from Sebpayne and it had been one of my best purchases ever.
Good luck Pete. -
Thanks guys!
Michael, exactly: I have only seen a couple of these beauties in years so looks like Fender done a very few quantity. It had been difficult choose between this one and my white blonde but the white is well gigged and this one is almost as new so the new owner will be happy with that purchase/trade.
C'mon boys before I regret it! -
I have for sale or trade a spotless (only very light studio use) 2001 Fender Precision MIA Vintage 57 in the hiper rare Inca Silver finish, currently unavailable. It's redundant in my gear so falled in love with that model I purchased the same bass in white blonde finish two years ago.
Not only it's a real beauty and sounds incredible but the construction of these series is almost Custom Shop quality.
The set-up is a work of art, ridiculous low action without any buzz or dead spot at all, this beast is truly easy to play with the best P-Bass pure tone ever.
It cost almost 1800 euros (1600 pounds) on the cheapest european dealer -Thomann (Germany)- and as I told you is in immaculate condition, so I guess 1250 pounds + the shipping cost to your home is a more than fair price.
PRICE DROP: 1190 pounds+ SHIPPING. LAST OFFER.
FREE SCHALLER STRAPLOCKS SET INCLUDED.
No trades unless you have available my dream bass for a swap: A Blueburst Rickenbacker 4003 in excellente condition.
Comes with all the documents.
I don't have at this point the original case but I'm including a really nice SKB hardcase or a beautiful vintage 60's "alligator style" german hardcase, your choice .
