I have owned 'Rays from every single decade, from pre-EB to current and Classics, about a dozen of them, and I have kept only two, both from 1989, IMHO the best year ever for EBMM production: the new saddles allow lower action than ever in the past, and still you have the mutes, the same untouched 2-band preamp, and the gorgeous birdseye glossy neck with bullet trussrod and the skunk stripe....
This is an excellent price for such a beauty, I know there's a crisis but these will be worth much more in a few years, it's a 'Ray as it should be, so take it as an investment and rob your nan if needed, or your bank....LOL Whatever you do you will not be disappointed! -
Oh well, it looks like it's going to stay under the bed for a little more time...
