This lot were amazing live

One of my all time favourites, but I’m sure Andy fluffs at 0.09 and 2.06. A beauty nonetheless.

Excellent job. I used to love using these cabs back in the day.

What an amazing looking bass, love it.

I also love a Precision but currently just own a Squier Jazz that I’ve had for over 30 years. It’s a great sounding bass and like yours sounds amazing with neck on full and bridge turned down. Suits me just fine!

You’ve done Les proud there, great job

You may be the first person ever who enjoyed playing a marlin sidewinder. 😉
I know! It just has a very nice neck and still has the NO Technique sticker i put on it about 30 years ago 😀

My very old Marlin Sidewinder. Wired up just the p pickup, stuck some flatwounds on. Surprisingly enjoyable to play.

John helped bring my old Marlin Sidewinder back to life. Great stuff as always!

Just purchased Squier p bass off John. Great bass and another easy transaction. Fabulous stuff.

I was there I think. 10000 Maniacs supporting?
I was there too! September 87 - the Document tour. They did a great version of Wipeout!

The body and neck def look like either a Japan/Korean mid-late 80’s E series Squier. Very nice as I have one myself and they are awesome. Very tempting with those upgrades.

I am using an ampeg combo and/or an old trace elliot. No pre amp (I need something like Tech 21 VT bass, but no money no honey)
Strings rounds 45-105.
Music style: old school garage punk, let's say something like Radio Birdman, Long Ryders, Wipers etc.
Funny thing: I tried a Sting Precision (Japan 2001) in the last rehearsal and it gave me that vintage 'boom'.
Wipers, good taste!

Check out Ataxia. Lally, Frusciante and Josh Klinghoffer on drums.
Joe plays nothing more than the songs need.
Jesus, awesome! Being a big fan of both Lally and Frusciante, how had I not heard this?! Nice one.

Fantastic early 80's Precision 83/84 in very good condition. Hardly any wear, apart from a scrape underneath shown in pic. Neck is very clean. Currently strung with Fender flatwounds. Has upgraded Kiogon pots and wiring but originals are included. Big sound from pickups and non original hardcase included. Nice touches like rolled fingerboard edges. Weighs in at 4.1kg.
Can post at buyers expense. Delivery/meetup also possible.

I played in a band with Fyfe just after he left Therapy? Monster drummer.

28 years for my Korean Squier Jazz. Still going strong and soon to be my only bass again. Great bass.
-
In very good condition with box and screws. No solder used.

What dreadful news. Always enjoyed his contributions on here over the years. Rest in peace, Sir.
