    Hi folks I've just bought a used Cort a6 and I'm picking it up tomorrow. However I would like to buy a shaped hard case for it so is there anyone out there who could give me the length, and width of the upper and lower bouts so I can look for a suitable case?

    Ahhh......

    In that case, I'm lamenting the moment of insanity when I parted with my beautiful blueburst G&L Tribute L-2500 and wishing I could get her back.... May have to look for alternatives, maybe a Yammy TRBX305 (as I also used to have a Mk1 TRB5F but hardly played it so sold that too). If I could find an TRB5 for TRBX305 money I'd be a happy bunny :rolleyes:[size=4] [/size]

    what head can I use with Ashdown VS112?

    I've just bought a VS112-150 cab on Ebay which was listed as a 1 x 15 cab which is a 200 watt cab. It's miles away and I can't be bothered with the hassle of complaining/returning etc. So what output amp can I get away with (it doesn't have to be Ashdown), or should I just re-sell it and get something else? I know I could use it as an extension cab, but I just wanted a small rig with a head and one cab.

    Any advice would be great :-)

    I know what you mean - I had a TRB5 fretless (series 1) in high black gloss - it was gorgeous but sold it two years ago.

    Fantastic little amp with a big voice. Although this is deemed to be a practice amp, it's actually pretty loud and has an extension speaker socket to take advantage of its full power so could actually be used for small venues, a D.I. socket, CD input and headphone socket. Also has active and passive inputs and a built in compressor. Unlike a lot of small amps, it handles 5 string basses without any problems.

    It's in excellent almost new condition.

    Fantastic awesome amp from the stable of Mark Gooday, the man who set the bar with Trace Elliot......

    This amp is just brilliant with its vintage vu meter for signal strength, the simply wonderful sub harmonics which basically replicates your notes with another one an octave lower.
    Also has the extra deep and extra bright buttons, 5 band switchable EQ, xlr D.I. output and effects loop. This is quite simply the best amp I've ever used and I'm only selling it because I no longer need it. It is in perfect working order and has the carpet covering finish to the cabs.

    It's definitely a series one and has never been modded. As far as fretting it - thats your call. It does have fretlines on it just no frets! Seems a shame to deface it with frets.... :)

    It's a factory fretless and definitely series one. I love just looking at it its a gorgeous bass but it needs to go as it doesn't get played nowadays

    Rare opportunity to buy this beautiful fretless bass. This bass just growls and is just gorgeous to behold, finished in charcoal black with the transparent high gloss finish allowing the grain to show through. Bolt on neck is maple with fret-lined rosewood fingerboard. It is fitted with 3 band EQ, bass and treble boost/cut, 3 way mid selectable mid switch, master volume and pickup pan, and Yamaha's own brilliant active hum-cancelling bass humbucker pickups. Machine heads and bridge are gold-plated.

    NB There is one tiny little ding underneath (i.e. the bit that would rest on your knee if you were sitting down to play). Its about 1mm square, if that. Apart from that it is in mint condition.

    Supplied in fitted plush-lined Yamaha hard case. The case alone currently retails for £110. There are a few minor marks and cuts on the case as you would expect with general wear and tear.

    This is a very reluctant sale but it's not being used so has to go to a good home. More photos available on request.

    Please note this is the superior series one Japanese bass not the series two or the Korean TRB 1005

    Bargain at £350 ono
