Hey guys,
I've just purchased a Quilter Bass block 802 amp head and am looking at using my sadowsky preamp pedal by bypassing the amps preamp. I read somewhere that I need to plug the pedal directly into the return, although as its part of my pedal board and being the last in the chain, will my effects before the preamp work okay? And do I plug my bass separately into the amp input or directly into the first pedal in the chain (tuner)? Sos for the noob question, but struggling to find a diagram.....
Thank you

Any idea where I can get hold of the blue led lights which sit inside the GB Streamliner amphead?
Many thanks

Hi,
Looking for a new amp, something with the heft of my streamliner 900, also something I can run my Sadowsky preamp pedal through.
The Quilter BB802 has popped up a few times- are these any good?
I'd be running it through a TC RS212, and going to get another so have option of 212 x 2. Will the amp provide enough heft?
Many thanks

Hi all,
I have been using a Streamliner 900 for a fair few years now, and along with my TC RS212 cab and fender elite 4 jazz bass, I have the perfect sound for me.
Now looking to purchase another amp so that I have a back up, but looking to get something a bit newer which still has the heft of the streamliner in the class d package.
Would also consider a bass power amp (class d size) which I can plug my Sadowsky preamp pedal right into.
Any recommendations appreciated...
Thanks

I have the same bass but an HH in red. These really are the business. Better looking and sleeker than a Stingray with the same classic MM punch, and TBH the bridge pickup is where most of the goodness lies. The B string is so good it rivals my Dingwall. IMHO the preamp is more musical than the current Special 18v circuit. The sometimes perceived “weak G” does not exist on the Sterling. They’re not in manufacture anymore and this is a US MM for pretty much the price of an Indonesian Sterling. If I didn’t already have one it would be gone. I would say GLWTD but you won’t need any luck
Thanks so much buddy, appreciate it. Hopefully someone will snap it up soon 🙂

Hey guys,
Purchased brand new only a few months back, and still in show room condition. Complete with the official case.
Weight: 9lb 8oz/4.3kg
Only reason for sale is that I'm finding the transition from 4 to 5 string not as comfortable as I would like (after 25 years of playing a 4!!). Couple of other things I'm looking to fund, so this unfortunately has to go.
Based in Swindon
Now £1350 (£1999 in Bass direct)
Items I will consider as a part exchange plus cash my way:
Genz Benz Streamliner 900
Genzler Magellan 800
Ampeg SVT Pro 7
TC Electronics RS212
Fender Jazz Basses 4 String (USA only)
Thanks
