1. Yes. daft, But thats my fault.
2. I took delivery of this fantastic new bass on Monday. It is amazing! Black finish with rosewood fingerboard and tortoise shell scratch plate. I foolishly ordered it for a gig I flew to mainland Europe to audition for. (And didn't get) - So the case has a few SLIGHT marks from ONE flight and two rehearsals. Apart from that this bass is as NEW! I would be looking for around £1250 or perhaps a trade. The bass sounds incredible, but I think changing the bass may help me forget my the fact I messed this one up! Time to move on... Many Thanks.
3. How about a 72 Gibson EB3?
4. Would you consider a trade?
5. Bump. Im really open to any kind of trade on this now. I just grabbed a U.S G&L SB-2. So with my other EB3 and my Jazz, I'm quite well covered. I quite fancy some toys! Of course a straight sale would still be nice.
6. I don't suppose you fancy a 1972 Gibson EB3 do you ?
7. Can anyone help me? Im not sure how to add mroe photos. Thanks
8. I'll add some more photos, when I work out how to! haha -
9. Ahh yes, Forgot that part! Im looking for £1100 - ONO I paid more than that last October and Ive had it professionally set-up since.
10. What sort of tonal character does the villex circuit and pickups produce?
11. NOW TRADED WITH FRANCOIS I have this currently on ebay, but thought I would share it here also. Im actually looking at buying something like a P bass - but hopefully with a Jazz pickup in the bridge also. I may end up going for a G&L SB-2? I would consider a trade with a good Fender P bass, Lakland, G&L, Mike Lull, Sadowsky etc.. Fantastic clean example of an early 70's Gibson EB3. Amazing condition. This bass plays extremely well, all electronics are in full working order. Recently professionally set-up. All original hardware including original bridge and rare/collectable bridge saddles. Also included is the original 70's rectangle hard case. Not the shaped case with the large Gibson logo. The bass is currently set-up with heavy gauge strings and plays very well. (I play everything tuned down a whole tone) If it was set up with lighter strings it may play even better! This bass was purchased in October 2011 from GAK.com. It originally belonged to their bass specialist. I bought it to use as a spare for my other 70's EB3 (as shown in the photos) However since buying this, the band I play for are currently not touring. So this has never been out of my house! As with many EB/SG style basses of this age, the instrument has had a professional headstock repair. (My other EB3, also has this) I actually prefer the idea of having a bass that has had this restoration/modification. The bass is probably now far more sturdy and stronger than it ever was before. The restoration is not visible! The only way I knew was because the guys at GAK told me, and when I hold it next to my other bass, the headstock logo is at a slightly different angle. This will be from when the headstock and neck were re-lacquered after the work was undertaken. I would be asking a lot more for this bass if this work had not been done. I can not stress enough how good the condition is considering the instruments age. The bass is 40 years old! The bass is 100% authentic as is the serial number. Which checks out as 100% accurate on both the Gibson website and the industry standard vintage repair guide book - 'The Blue Book'

13. No probs will upload some photos tonight!
14. Hi I am very reluctantly selling my LAKLAND SKYLINE DARRYL JONES 4 STRING BASS. I have recently had some money issues and knackered my right hand - so it makes sense to sell the one thing I have thats worth anything. Which is a shame as Ive only had it a couple of months and it is in amazing condition. I also had a custom case made by HISCOX in BLONDE with a bright BLUE interior to mach the instrument. It plays fantastic and sounds incredible. I am looking for £1000 (shipped UK) and will include the custom Hiscox case and a Lakland gig bag. (these bases dont come with either a bag or case as standard) Please PM me for any futher details, Cheers.
