Well, I can't upload any pics I took as I appear to have exceeded my limit. It's an embuggerance!

I've never thought that splittys on a 5er look right.

Threaten him with the small claims court for the value of the amp.

I have a Harley Benton bass chorus and I'm liking a lot and for £20 you cant really go wrong.
-
Kai Stephens from Hard Fi is worth listening to.

Carlsbro don't seem to be fairing too well on this thread either. Although having said that my first proper bass amp was a Carlsbro Colt 65B which was fine until my cousin had it stolen out of the back of his car 'cos he couldn't be bothered to unload after a gig he did.

The Ashdown in my old bands first rehearsal space was utter poo. Dull sound and no volume.

I've got a Hartke Transporter 4x10 and it sounds great and covers a multitude of musical sins. Picked it up off here for £50. a couple of years ago. Bargain!

I wouldn't swap my elderly Trace Elliot for anything. Hasn't let me down ever!

She had her first public outing at the blues jam last night and all went well. Sounded amazing and drew lots of admiring looks and comments.
Made a new friend too. -
Have a look at Bare Knuckle p/up's. Mate of mine swears by them for all things metal.

Odd that. -
Well the public debut didn't go as planned as I had to dash to Hereford/Wales for the weekend due to a family emergency and only got back today.
-
Any idea when the next S/W bash is gonna be?

Most people at work know and nobody seems to mind. Helps that there are some other musicians there too.
-
Nothing wrong with cheap crap, it's what I started on.
-
She'll be getting her public debut at the blues jam up at my local, the Riflemans Arms, on Sunday if anyone wants to come and say hello.

I tried one of these in my local guitar shop while waiting for Mrs Stoker to finish some shopping and I was very impressed with it.
