Allo Fliends!
Just got back following a full days' technical rehearsal for a production of `Rent' - fantastic score, some very meaty and somewhat challenging basslines - anyone else played it? Santa Fe has to be the track du jour!

think we've all found ourselves trapped in the for sale section, welcome to GAS
Thanks for the warm welcome guy's. Just had a quick squint at my account settings but sadly I cant find the "TURN THE FOR SALE AND WANTED FORUM OFF" button, so it's looking like wallet trauma for me.
I've already had a look and come out with a "virtual" shopping list.
-
best thing to do really, drive through and keep going
Mmm. Drove through Ormskirk on Saturday. Greetings from a little further down the East Lancs.
-
i put 999 on in the early 80's, were a great bunch to work with, good luck with the fest.
I was a big fan of the early Wah Heat stuff back in the early 80s. Loved the really driving guitar and bass lines but thought Pete Wylie disappeared up his proverbial after he hit big time with Story of the Blues.
Saw them live at Heaven in Charing X Road around 1981/2 supported by Throbbing Gristle and the delightful Surgical Penis Klinik. Wah's bass player, Washington I think he was called, was sick and had to leave the stage half-way through so Julian Cope came onstage and jammed the rest of the gig. Bloody ace!
-
i 'joined' a covers band for learning experience and i think im the youngest at 46, its been a fantastic 7 months, even though they're on a different planet to me ive had nothing but support and encouragement, they've even had me singing - something ive never been able to do in the past
-
i have a veteran sidewinder, im thinking of going BEAD with that, it only cost me £15 so its not like im gonna lose anything if it doesnt work out
-
