right now im not sure i like anyone in the band im in
-
first time i saw motorhead was in '83/84 at the royal court in liverpool, the dry ice machine went mad and for about 1/2 hour you couldnt see the stage and when it cleared all the band were lying on the stage, it was brilliant.
lemmy admitted a few years ago that for a long time he had sung eight of spades instead of ace, and no-one had noticed -
good to meet you sir
-
i had one, thought the sound was really nice, swapped for a 5-stringer though, which is even nicer
-
shiny chrome humbuckers, mmmmmmmm, thanks matt
-
clarky - im 46 myself and its just never too late is it
-
what can i say, loved every minute of it, got a few notes wrong on queen of hearts but not even the band noticed!!! sang a song too another 1st, and yes it was over to quickly and im still buzzing
-
most classic rock bands ive seen have been crap and as clarky says they'll be bladdered anyway
-
thanks guys
@ greeneking - ive been practicing that very thing -
playing for a very small audience tonight as part of an awareness evening for MIND, i am both excited and terrified
-
id like the humbuckers please
-
glad its not just me
-
took possession of my new pitchblack this morning, took it to band practice and because i was too busy looking at the pretty lights i wasnt paying attention and snapped a string - i was strumming the g string and tightening the d string d'oh.
-
id love to buy it, but a 'measly' £450 a month before christmas is not happening sadly

-

-
what you looking to trade? i have an ibby sr300 which cost me a little more than what your selling for and ill come over to manchester
-
at the risk of being stupid can you explain what is meant by drop tuning?
-
wish i had 200 quid to buy it
-
glad i wasnt the only one
im sure im missing the point but i fail to see how palladino has influenced so many bass players, there was nothing inspiring about that just - as others have pointed out - a demo of technical ability and surely music disappearing up its own arse

i do sometimes, mainly so that if i can hear the next note in my head i dont have to think about playing it it just happens, if that makes any sense at all
