1.
I can read music but im not that fast, why have you stopped doing the tab,i think your site would get a lot more hits if you continued doing tab as well as notation, nice website though, its just for more complicated bass lines the actual playing technique takes up loads of time so it would be easier to have tab rather than to sit down and have to work through notation, cheers.
I fully understand what you are saying, and agree - I would get a lot more hits. I will be trying to get TAB versions up of everything as soon as I can. It just takes a lot more time to do.

  2. Hello everyone.

I haven't updated this thread for a while. So for those interested in bass transcriptions, more recent updates include the following transcriptions:

Stevie Wonder - Master Blaster (Jammin') (Nathan Watts)
Lucy Pearl - Trippin' (Raphael Saadiq)
    Jamiroquai - Starchild (Derrick McIntyre)
Esperanza Spalding - I Know You Know
    Incognito - Colibri (Randy Hope-Taylor)

    Plus many, many more.

  3. I generally didn't like the look of the SZ sig bass at first, it's growing on me - but not my preferred body style of finish. That said, I'm told it plays beautifully and the balance (i guess because of the horn positioning) is superb.

  4.
Hi, I don't often post here, but I read BC regularly. I did a transcription of "Too Young To Die" and a couple of other early Jamiroquai tracks recently. Here it is, thought it wouldn't hurt to put it out there. Would be cool to hear what anyone thinks of it, or any alterations they'd suggest.
23 people downloaded your transcription and didn't post, so I will.

I had a look over your transcription and thought it was excellent! Pretty much the same as what I got in mine (@ The Bassment). Well done.

  5.
Barely competent for 4 my foot! I'd love this but am totally strapped at the mo... unless I can get rid of a Bongo 5 and 55-01 sharpish. In the current climate I doubt it! Good luck selling this beauty!
Seems to be the theme of current times Bigwan. No one has any money!
