It must be great having your head in the clouds. But when you get to the real world, an employer will have no problem chucking your CV straight in the bin. There are still people going after proper degrees these days, after all.
Well, you might not get a career per se but a music degree may get you a job. There will always be toilets in need of scrubbing and burgers in need of flipping, I suppose.

Aren't you at RNCM Jake? One of the best colleges of music in the country? I'm sure a good degree from somewhere like that will mean nothing when applying for something... -

Raising that old chestnut "[s]How[/s] Why on earth do you pick a Fender Precision?" when there are many other arguably better offerings available.
I'm a sucker for block and bound necks and you don't see that on many P basses, just thought the OP shouldn't limit the search to Fender alone. -
I'd look at the Lakland Duck Dunn's as well. Brilliant P basses

Lucky man. I love the white subs, my favourite out of the colours that were available

How about this:

My god. That. Was thinking about this earlier when I was weighing up what colour combo I'd go for if I got a Marcus Miller -
+1 to the low mids and flats

I never smile. Apparently I look miserable whenever I play, but I love playing live....

LawrieMacmillans Ice Blue Sadowsky is really doing it for me at the minute. However, I'm really happy with my blue and maple SR4 at the minute

And all it took was some Lamb's Bread brother -
I pull out some Clutterbuck and show them how good I am...
I'm joking of course, I usually just play some nice melodic stuff like some Seth Horan -
Forget Me Nots - Patrice Rushen
Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
Glide - Pleasure
Few personal favourites to play along to -
Tye Zamora from Alien Ant Farm is a brilliant bass player.
Arif Miradolbhagi of Protest the Hero is unreal -

That video is comedy gold.

I really want to see this video now
That bass is very doom man -
Some protest the hero

Traded my LTD surveyor with Rasta for an LTD b206 (I think). Miss both of those as I just didn't give them enough playing time. Was at the same time that I got my Corvette though, which is a miles better bass.

I have MEC J pups on my Corvette and I installed a Seymour Duncan 2 band EQ into it. Sounds great and I picked the pre-amp up off here for a pretty awesome price (about £100 less than a John East). Only thing that I would do differently would be to get the 3 band if possible

55 seconds in. -
Just spoke to Nick about my scratchplate. Took two seconds on the phone, and he was a bloody nice bloke to boot. Should be with me on Thursday

I got my Ray because I really dig Tim Commerford's sound on RATM self titled. But I must admit, I do like the sound of Flea's Ray tone... Especially on BSSM
-
They're pretty fly. I'd be interested in a white one

There's a Tobias Toby 4 going in my local cash converters

+1. In the process of doing this with my SR4 as well. Only costing me £17.50 as well which is pretty good -

The 4th fret harmonic is my favourite and it always seems to be there :-)

The 4th played on the G and the 5th on the D gets me everytime
