Noooooooooooooooo this would be perfect alongside my markbass 4x10!
If I had the cash I would certainly pick that up, pure bargain.
Have a mark bassy bump -
That is the sex.
Have a bump for a beautiful bass that can't be mine -
We need players like Wooten. He pushes the envelope of what's possible on the instrument. And this in turn inspires us to become better bass players. Otherwise we all might as well just play 12 bar, 3 chord tricks in pubs for the rest of our lives.
+1
I couldn't agree more, you will find generally the kind of people that hate Wooten are the people that CAN'T do his technique.
He, like many famous players has just expanded on a technique, which he is VERY good at.
The world of bass would be alot more boring without player's who stepped up and said 'Hey, look what I can do'.
Like him or not, he is highly talented, and a massive influence on the world of current and upcoming bass players.
Guess it'll be Mark King next aye -
Hi kids, saw Mr Russ gig this a couple of months ago, it's an absolute beauty in tone and looks!
If I had the money I'd swipe this off you sir
Good luck with the sale! -
Started trading with a few people now, I'm sure I can take the feedback
-
Only just noticed this section, otherwise would of posted ages ago!
Traded my lakland with Craig for his beautiful Status, and must he is a top bloke, and a damn good player too!
Live's in my hometown so a bit of softness goes there
Really good guy to deal with! -
1) Functions band (Called Cover Up, oh yeah)
2) Jazz band (Iris and the wolves)
3) Tech/Prog Metal band (Once a wolf)
Ironically the two band names were chance, not some wolf conspiracy....... -
Thanks for all the advice guys!
My mate builds basses so I'm gonna let him see if it's just a simple wiring issue, if not, I'll give Rob a bell.
Cheers lads! -
Have you checked your cables.... first thing to do....
Would be a beginner's error but one I make all the time
I have yes, my spector has no problem through the same set up.......
Oh dear -
Hi there!
I have a Status Kingbass Artist that I love to death, but recently she's been cutting out and making a fuzz sound when you first plug her in, continues randomly after that.
I though although I had replaced the batteries a week ago it could be them, so I've replaced them again, but STILL she is doing it
I'm gutted as I'm playing a functions gig Sat and was hoping to use her, but I don't know whether it's something very serious or not so don't want to risk it.
Does anyone know what it could be that's causing this? I live in Brighton so the local GAK is a stroll down the road.....but do I really want to trust them with this bass?
Any advice would be appreciated! (Expect MB1 or Outtoplayjazz )
Cheers! -
Hi there!
I live in Brighton, deep in the city centre
And I will split, I just thought they complimented each other!
Split would be £50 each.
Cheers! -
Hi all!
Up for grabs is my lovely Fender Jaguar, she doesn't get played anymore and I'd rather move her on to someone who will
She's been my main gigging bass for the last 2 years (until I bought my spector )
Got some buckle rash on the back(pics provided), and I will happily remove all the stickers (scratchplate and one on body)
Will put a new set of 40's on her, doesn't have a case or gig bag so collection is prefered, delivery is an option but will add more to price.
Hope someone will give her a good home
Cheers!
Sam

Hi there!
Having recently upgraded my rig, my long time companion set up needs to go.
It's a Behringer BX3000T head, 300 watts, 1 into 4 ohms or 2 into 8
Accompanying this is a Behringer Ultrabass BB 210, 600 watt 2x10 cab.
The cab does have a tweeter, but I've always had it switched off (switch at the back)
Has been gigged alot, but still sounds pretty damn good!
Obviously I know it's not the best rig in the world, but it's always been good enough for me
Asking for £100, buyer would have to collect as I don't drive sorry!
Cheers!
Sam

Hey man that was pretty damn sweet! Nicely done!
Almost died of laughter from the response video you got....."Power to the metal".....
Keep it up! -
Is this still available?
Looking for a partner for my markbass 4x10 -
Wow..........Can't believe this hasn't gone, a 5 string pure white MM is actually one of my dream basses (status neck of course )
Good luck with the sale man, have a bump on me! -
Obvious reply.... Do bears s**t in the woods? Is the Pope catholic? Does Ghandi wear flipflops? Does the aforementioned Ghandi have footrot? Etc, etc, etc...
Sorry I didn't make myself clearer......
Fender have squires.....Ernie Ball have subs....this doesn't mean they are great basses?!
I only have a Kingbass and so is all I know
Cheers! -
Just interested is all
You can never have too many basses, my wife thinks you can but we all know different.
How's my old Kingbass?
Haha, I think the other halves are slightly jealous for our love of basses.....
And she is still firmly in my hands, poor Spector doesn't know what's happened
Looking to get a decent rig so I can something to compliment the bass!
These 5000 series meant to be any good? -
Craig you after another one already?
-
Phwoar these are just lovely...........heard nothing but good things about them!
Afraid I don't have £700
Want a fender jaguar? -
I own one of these girls, a lovely red one too
Was my first 'proper' bass, and reading previous posts I totally agree with people's reviews, it is a beautiful bass.
Really versatile, great neck, and I personally love the retro look. It is definitely worth the money (as a passive bass).
The pre - amp is not great, and so the active sound is pretty poor compared to my other actives (Spector Euro, also have a Status Kingbass coming sunday ).........And mine also makes a funny noise when you turn her over to active.......
But for a passive bass they are superb. Open pole pickups aren't great for slap so keep that in mind, tends to complain at that.
I still have mine, and even though she hangs on my wall I still use her and couldn't part with.
Hope that helps good sir.

Hi there!
I have a very beautiful 4 string Lakland (Darryl Jones sig) that I never seem to use anymore (blame spector), and so I am very interested in seeing if anyone would like to trade for another beautiful bass
It is in perfect condition, apart from on little tiny ding near the base (have zoomed in pic to show).
Preferably after a 5 stringer, but I'm open to any offers!
Cheers!
Sam.
